I didn't think that Cha Tra Mue (which opened in Chiang Mai early February 2023) would combine a dim sum shop and a dessert shop (I can't remember the name of the dim sum shop and the dessert shop 😅). Instead of just stopping by to order drinks, I ended up having some light dim sum before heading to lunch. There is a fair amount of parking at the shop. If you drive, I recommend coming before lunch or dinner because parking might not be enough. We arrived at 11am on a weekday, so there weren't many people. I saw that there was a drive-thru service, but I'm not sure if you can order food or just drinks. The interior is spacious. There are 3 zones to choose from: outside the building, inside the building, and a private room. The system might be confusing for us. If you want to eat dim sum, you have to walk outside to choose it yourself, except for some menus that you can order at the table, such as rolled noodles. If you order drinks, you have to pay separately from the dim sum price. The dessert shop is in another area, which we didn't eat. The taste of the dim sum is considered okay. The price of food and drinks for this meal was about 300 baht. There were 4 dim sum items and 2 glasses of water. Overall, it was good.
