The cruise departed from pier no. 2 on the ICON Siam at 7:30 pm. Before departure, I exchange the voucher for getting a ticket at the Chao Phraya Princess counter inside the ICON Siam. The location is in G/F, next to Naraya Shop. The ticket contains the table number for the cruise dinner buffet. The buffet starts once the cruise disembarked from the pier and available for two hours while the cruise ride along the Chao Phraya river. There is fresh seafood, Thai dishes, and a selection of international treats spread out for your enjoyment. All are good. If you wanted to add drinks from the bar, you needed to pay extra. It was not included in the buffet. With your dinner and two hours of cruising, you can enjoy live music full of throwback tunes and nostalgia while dancing and sightseeing from the upper deck. I love to be on the upper deck as I can see Bangkok’s most famous and sacred landmarks, such as Grand Palace, from a scenic viewpoint, and felt the breeze as a compliment. It was an entertaining and memorable night with Chao Phraya Princess Cruise. This is highly recommended: take the cruise trip with family, friends, or partners, and enjoy Bangkok!

I have been to these cruise many times but for a first timers it was so interesting and exciting.. We took the Meridian Dinner Cruise for the Icon Siam Pier 2, our dinner time was from 8.00m to 10pm. We were seated on the open deck with a table that has a great view. The night view of Chao Phraya is simple gorgeous and mesmerising. We were able to see some of the most scenic places such as Wat Arun, Grand Palace, Asiateque, beautiful jetty’s, 5 stars hotels… all so beautiful and breathtaking. The breeze and the relax setting let us had a wonderful get together night.. The buffet was sufficiently ok, even though not extraordinary, but it was not the main theme of the cruise.. it is the cruise itself and the scenery that the main attraction of the dinner cruise.. Definitely a good choice for new visitors to Bangkok..

Chatuchak Market was filled with local products and various foods at affordable prices. I tried a boat trip on the Chao Phraya River, which was a sweet way to discover the city from a different angle. I visited the MBK shopping center, which had everything from electronics to clothes and gifts. In the evening, I went to Asiatique The Riverfront, a beautiful riverside complex with restaurants, markets, and a panoramic wheel.
