Changle Inn🏡, a unique themed hotel hidden in the city
Hotel
Yangzhou is a small Jiangnan garden city🌴 that has been famous in the works of many literati and is also a historically prosperous place for the salt industry and canal transportation.✨✨✨
When I went to Yangzhou for sightseeing🍀, I stayed at a very unique themed hotel - Changle Inn.🏡🏡
Location:
🏡The hotel is located on Dongguan Street, a representative historical street in Yangzhou. The hotel is integrated with Dongguan Street, 🍁and was rebuilt from the historical residence of Li Changle, the salt gang garden "Jienan Study," "Hua's Garden," and the early Republic of China residence of Li Hesheng, "Yipu." It has a very rich historical and cultural heritage.🍁🍁🍁
But there is a downside: Dongguan Street is closed to vehicles🚗, so you can only take a taxi to the outside of the street.😅😅 You have to walk a distance with your luggage, and it's a cobblestone road.🛴🛴🛴
Service:
Although it is a themed hotel🏡, the service is still good. The staff😃 are proactive, and if you need to go out, they can arrange an electric car🛵 for you in a timely manner.🚲🚲
The lobby and the accommodation are not in the same area, so a staff member😃 will take you to your room when you check in. However, the rooms are average, with a bit of a guesthouse feel, with some new Chinese-style decor🍁, and the hygiene is also average.🍂🍂
Environment:
The hotel itself is a huge Ming and Qing dynasty garden🌴, with ancient walls and tiles preserved inside. There is a view at every step, with pavilions, bridges, and flowing water, and the scenery is very nice.🌷
The rooms are distributed in different courtyards, with some having a single courtyard and others having two rooms in one courtyard, 🏡with Chinese-style tables and chairs in the courtyard.🌻🌻
Since it is inside the hotel, there are relatively few tourists, so you can enjoy the scenery🌴 and have fun, and you can also go to Ge Garden through the hotel🏡.
However, it is recommended not to go out alone at night🏙️, as the deep courtyard at night can be quite spooky.😂
Outside the hotel is Dongguan Street, where there are many local Yangzhou🍡 snacks, but like most cultural streets in other cities, don't buy anything.😂
Dining:
The hotel breakfast🥟 is average, but you can try the main meal at Fulinhuyuan, which is connected to Changle Inn and is also a salt gang mansion converted into a restaurant. The Huaiyang cuisine🥙 there is quite good, and it was recommended by a local friend.✌🏻✌🏻
Overall rating:
If you come to Yangzhou🍀, you can experience a Chinese garden-style hotel🏡 with good value for money.🌹
