Wat Bunyuen
Wat Bunyuen, Nan Province
🙏🙏🙏It is an ancient temple in Wiang Sa District. It is assumed that this temple was built by Phraya Wiang Po and named it “Wat Bunna”. Later, during the reign of Prince Attawarapanyo, the ruler of Nan, he visited Wiang Sa and found that Wat Bunnak was narrow, so he ordered the temple to be moved and rebuilt. He gave the temple a new name, “Wat Pa Sak Ngam”. He also ordered the construction of a chapel and a main Buddha image in the chapel in a standing posture, 8 cubits high, so the name was changed from “Wat Pa Sak Ngam” to “Wat Bunyuen”.
🌿🙏🌿The chapel is in Lanna art with a three-tiered roof. The main Buddha image in the chapel is a standing Buddha image, opening the world in a standing posture, with both hands hanging down normally, as if standing, but with both palms facing forward. The doors of the chapel consist of three-tiered carved teakwood doors. It is a picture of Indra sitting on a lotus and Brahma sitting on a seven-headed elephant.

Nalai View Cafe & Homestay, accommodation & cafe, rice field view
Aunt Aom complained...went to stay at Nalai View Cafe & Homestay, a pet-friendly accommodation with an A-shaped house and Nordic style. The rooms are excellent, with a bathtub overlooking the middle of the rice fields, very cool air conditioning, and a hot water system like a hotel. New and clean, breakfast is served to your bedroom. You can choose rice soup, bread, fried eggs, orange juice, or a single dish with fried eggs and orange juice. For dinner, go to a cafe with a beautiful, quiet atmosphere. The food is delicious, made by mother, no worries about ingredients, and the price is not expensive. If anyone visits Nan, I recommend staying at Wiang Sa. Contact via FB Nalai View "Nalai Veiw Cafe' & Restaurant/Homestay". The staff are very good, polite, and give good advice. My niece loves it so much.

Take a taste of 'Jang Nan', coffee lovers must not miss the delicious coffee from Wiang Sa.
Jang Nan is a coffee shop located in a three-unit old wooden shophouse, which used to be a bus depot. It has now been renovated into a shop, coffee shop, and gallery.
The coffee here is as good as in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, whether it's drip coffee from various sources, a good standard espresso menu, or a cold-pressed coffee with a thick, soft, and cold cream like Nitro Cold Brew. Khun Yok - Wongkorn and Khun Kung - Malaporn Kraithong, the owners, brew and serve every menu themselves, resulting in both good quality coffee and a lively and friendly atmosphere. The coffee quality and taste are very good.
Local travel coordinates: 294 Moo 3, Wiang Sa Subdistrict, Wiang Sa District, Nan Province. From the traffic light coming from Phrae, turn left and drive past Wat Bunyuen. The shop will be on the right.
