The Beauty of Taiwan-Taroko National Park
Take advantage of the holiday to visit Taroko National Park to explore the beauty of Taiwan
Although Taroko is a well-known Taiwanese tourist attraction
But I have never been here before, maybe the places I remember are places I only visit during graduation trips (?
Taroko attractions include Shanyue Suspension Bridge, Baiyang Trail, Shuilian Cave, Yanzikou Trail, Changchun Temple, Shakadang, Jiuqu Cave, and Zhuilu Ancient Trail.
Most of them are free of charge. The characteristics of each Taroko attraction are very different. There are many trails and canyons, so it is best to save your energy.
Because the entire national park is so large, I only picked two places to visit this time.
If you want to visit all of them, it may take 2-3 afternoons to complete them.
📍Shuilian Cave on Baiyang Trail
It takes 2 hours to go back and forth. The entire 2.1-kilometer route is flat and can be challenged by both parents and children.
The seven tunnels are dark and unlit, and there will be water jets pouring down your head, so be sure to bring a flashlight and raincoat.
When you first walk in, you will pass a very dark trail. You can't see the road without a flashlight.
After passing through this tunnel, there are mountains in sight.
The spectacular rock walls make people admire the uncanny workmanship of nature.
📍 Yanzikou Trail
In the early years, the valley was named after the many swallows that formed the scene of "Hundred Swallows Singing Valley". It is the most essential section of Taroko Gorge.
Taroko Gorge, potholes, springs, U-shaped cliffs, Indian Chief Rock, the most important part of this attraction, it only takes about 15 minutes to walk, highly recommended
Since we arrived at Taroko almost at noon this time, the attractions we could visit were very limited.
Especially for scenic spots with long walking paths, it takes a lot of energy to complete them.
But after exploring the beauty of Taiwan this time, I will plan my time well to visit the rest of the attractions next time!
