The Original Vadai outlet @ Century Square is brightly lit up with a Broadway billboard just outside the mall. It's also the one with the super long queue in between Tip Top and Assam Laksa outlets. And YES, people (including yours truly) are willing to queue under the hot sun just to get hold of the freshly deep-fried snack. In case you are not aware, Vadai is a deep-fried South Indian snack that is sort of like a savoury doughnut. The Original Vadai is famous for their Prawn Vadai @ $1.20 each. There is a shell-on prawn that is pressed right into the light and airy fritter. You typically eat the shell-on prawn whole as it adds on another crunchy texture to the vadai. I also tried the Ikan Bilis Vadai also @ $1.20 each which is saltier but easier to eat. Between the two, I prefer the Prawn Vadai still. BTW, the vadais are uniquely enjoyed with fresh spicy green chillies which are automatically supplied with each order. They have other variants like : Veg, Chilli, Onion Vadais at $1.20 each and also premium ones like Cheese and Chocolate which goes for $5.00 a piece. They also have non vadai offerings like the Crispy Giant Squid @ $9.00 each but people are usually there for the Prawn Vadai. After the first try, the vadais were so good that I went back to queue twice and I even returned the next day after gym just to buy and snack on them lol. Price per Person - $6/pax Rating - 4/5 We don't usually see bagels here as it's not exactly a norm to have them for breakfast, but rather it's something that's pretty common in America. Usually, it's the frozen ones that I see in supermarkets or very few bakeries make them. I was overjoyed when I chanced upon BAE.GAL because it's a baegal specialty shop. Finally, I can get freshly made baegals. The assortment of baegals here is just crazy and they have local flavours such as otah baegal, sambal tuna baegal and even mentaiko baegal. However, I still prefer my usual baegals such as Multigrain or cranberry or sourdough cheese. The baegal texture here may not be as chewy as in the states but I'm glad it is fresh and still very yummy.

I saw the directory and I managed to go to the top of the rooftop garden. It was a very spacious garden with ample space for the people to rest and sit on. It is definitely a place to chat with your friends. It reminds me of my childhood days where I will always meet up with my friend at the park to share our updates with each other. The park is indeed a great place for residents of the tampines to enjoy.

They range from tickets machines to coins machines and even playing machines (shooting kind). I spotted that this outlet also have newer never see before machine like the zombie snatchers. There also also so many items to redeem for the tickets you "earn" from the machines as well. It is a fun place to spend time with your family. The Singapore Tourism Promotion Board has also listed Swee Choon as one of the country’s must-visit food destinations for international travellers.
