The Best Hotel in Zibo, has the worst service
#they won't see me again...
We loved to visit this Hotel as often as possible, and chose the Sheraton Zibo Hotel, for all our special occasions.
That was until our most recent visit...
After this weekend's pathetic experience from the front desk, the Sheraton Hotel in Zibo, will never see us again.
Note: We will still support the "Feast Signature Restaurant" on a weekly basis, as well as for special occasions.
Check in on Friday, was most unpleasant as "Ivy Wang", wanted to charge me the Room Rate, along with the deposit, this after I paid for the room and breakfast, in full, online, as I have done many times before.
The Check out process, on Sunday, was even worse.
"Amy" the clerk at the front desk, was most incompetent, and presented an incorrect bill.
I was charged "Noodles" from the mini bar, which I never even consumed.
Further, she could not communicate the details of the bill to me clearly, even although I added her on Wechat, for ease of communication.
Note: It's not a communicative issue, it's a poor service issue, period.
The so called duty Manager "Maggie", was also not of much useful assistance.
I asked her to accompany me back to the room on the 39th floor, as I wanted to reiterate my point, the "noodles" was never consumed...
She was not willing to accompany me to the room, and merely stated that "house keeping" made the mistake, and they corrected the bill.
This, in my opinion, is a classic case of shifting the blame, as in my opinion, the problem is at front desk.
Check out was supposed to be quick and efficient, yet we left the hotel at 12:18
18 min of our time wasted, for no good reason.
Is this the treatment to expect for any guest?
Especially, guests whom have spent thousands with the establishments to date.
I will urge all travelers to reconsider supporting this Hotel, there are numerous options in Zibo.
The world does not revolve around the Sheraton Zibo.
There are many other Hotels, in close proximity.
(Whom treat their guests better).
As a matter of principal, I will contact the Sheraton Corporate Head Office (New York) as well, perhaps they are not aware of this branch's incompetence.
Like I said, this was our last stay, at the Sheraton in Zibo.
