Central Park in the Greater Vancouver area
Burnaby Central Park was established in 1891, located in the heart of Greater Vancouver, covering nearly 9 hectares. What's most attractive is that much of its land has been preserved as a well-preserved temperate rainforest ecosystem, with countless walking trails. This includes an award-winning children's playground, sports courts and pitch-and-putt golf, outdoor swimming facilities, lawn bowling facilities, several picnic areas, tennis courts, and several little duck ponds. The wildlife in the park includes gray squirrels and Canadian geese. Because it is located in the center of Greater Vancouver, it is a great place for leisurely strolls.
