Enter the One Piece world with ‘One Piece The Great Era of Piracy Exhibition Asia Tour’ The One Piece exhibition is coming to Thailand, how could a One Piece lover (but not following it) like us miss it? When we heard the news, we found a free day and went. This exhibition is held on the 8th floor of Central World. We can buy tickets online before coming to the event or buy them at the event. When we went up the escalator, we met staff who were ready to give advice, a souvenir shop, and a ticket shop. The staff recommended that we download an app to play games or join various activities in the exhibition before buying tickets because the app took a long time to load. Once we got our tickets, after downloading the app, we took the tickets to exchange for a random One Piece hologram card with a Straw Hat Pirates character. There was a rare design like Luffy Gear 5. I got a Franky design. But before we entered the exhibition, there was a minor problem, so we had to wait for a while. The event provided free water and popcorn for us to eat while waiting. So we ordered some curry rice to eat with it. The taste was okay. In addition to rice and water, there are also many other snacks and food for us to choose from (all of these are in the cafe area, next to the entrance of the exhibition). There are more than 20 rooms in the exhibition. Each room has a game room for us to join in the fun, such as imitating characters, shooting bullets at marines, helping to destroy ships, or getting rid of fish to find devil fruits. Studio Ghibli movies are popular not only with children but also among adults. I remember watching my 1st Studio Ghibli movie, Whisper of the Heart, and since then I’ve been a fan. Imagine my excitement when me and my friends discovered we‘ll be able to see The World of Studio Ghibli's Animation Exhibition during our Bangkok trip last November. The exhibition certainly became one of the highlights of our trip. We booked a ticket online for a Monday morning visit to avoid crowd. The exhibition was held at centralWorld. Upon getting our tickets, we also received a pamphlet for the stamps we can collect and will serve as souvenir. There are photo zones wherein if you buy the VIP ticket, you wouldn’t have to queue, but since there’s no crowd, we didn’t need to queue. The staff were helpful in taking photos of us as a group and it was fun playing along with the scenes of the photo zones. The exhibition was interactive which I enjoyed. The exhibition was massive, we were there for almost 2 hours taking pictures of everything, getting our money’s worth haha, no but seriously we were really just amazed at everything. Merch can also be bought after going through the whole exhibit. My favorites were definitely the Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Spirited Away’s exhibitions. The stamping activity was also fun. I think the most memorable part of the exhibition was being able to see the process of making the movies from the storyboard. The sketches were also on display. It was inspiring seeing the talent, hard work, and passion of the studio in making these films.
