| Stayed at the hotel of a lifetime on Koh Samui, with a sea view right outside the door.
I never expected that my first trip to Koh Samui would lead me to stay at the hotel of a lifetime. I really want to recommend it to you all. This time, I stayed at the Centara Reserve Samui, a local five-star hotel in Thailand.
【Location】
The hotel is located near Chaweng Beach, about 4.4 kilometers from Samui Airport, a ten-minute taxi ride, very convenient. Nearby is Central Samui, more than 2 kilometers from the hotel, about a 20-minute walk.
Right outside the hotel is a commercial street with many shops, restaurants, motorcycle rental shops, and a 7-11 convenience store just 500 meters away, really convenient.
【Staying at the Hotel】
This hotel features pure white European-style architecture, with a Mediterranean and modern European style. Walking into the hotel lobby, it's super beautiful, facing the sea view directly. The lobby also has a wishing pool where every guest can make a wish.
As a local five-star hotel, I really have to praise their service. Every staff member serves with a smile. When checking in, there are welcome towels and specialty drinks, which taste very good.
The hotel's public area is very large, with a vast beach, really just steps away from the sea. In the evening, lying on the beach chair, feeling the sea breeze, it's really relaxing.
The most photogenic part of the public area is a large lawn and a pavilion, which is a popular spot for photos. You can book a dinner at this pavilion in the evening, very romantic.
The hotel public area has two swimming pools. One with a bar is a family pool where children can swim. The other pool is on the other side of the pavilion, slightly smaller, adults-only, very private.
I stayed in the Reserve Pool Suite, with an area of 67 square meters, a small garden with a small pool, really nice. The room is pure white, with a bit of a Greek feel, making it very comfortable.
They provided welcome fruits and a handwritten letter from the general manager, full of sincerity. By the way, their general manager is Chinese, very friendly, often serving guests in the lobby.
The mini-bar has a variety of soft drinks and snacks, all free to enjoy and can be replenished for free. There is also a set of cocktail tools, an ice bucket, and spirits for self-mixing, along with a complimentary bottle of red wine.
【Dining at the Hotel】
The hotel breakfast really amazed me, very rich, in a buffet and à la carte format. I suggest trying everything on the menu. You can eat until 11 am, sleep in, and then enjoy a beautiful breakfast, making your day very pleasant.
【Nearby Entertainment】
There isn't much to do on Koh Samui, mainly staying at the hotel or going to Central Samui for shopping and dining. You can also book a day tour for island hopping and snorkeling, which is quite good.
