I've never been to any Ocean parks before. I've seen pictures and videos of what's inside but I wanted to see them for myself personally. So, I finally went to one and it's at Cebu Ocean park. When you think of Ocean parks, it's a place to enjoy and bond with families and friends. But for my first time going there, I was not with my family, not with friends, but only by myself. I actually enjoyed my time there. I saw different kinds of sea creatures I've never seen before. There was also a bird show where they make the bird show tricks, and a big aquarium where people in scuba gear swam with the animals and feed them. I wasn't able to take solo pictures because I was still too shy to ask people to take my pictures. And the staff there were not allowed to take picture of visitors unless it was their official camera wherein you have to pay for it. But overall, it was just a chill tour for me. A first time experience as a solo traveller. Have a grand time at Cebu Ovean Park by enjoying their fish foot spa which is so fun and relaxing, and have a filling snack/meals in their Aquanarium resto, which does not only serve great food, but you can also have an awesome (sort of) underwater experience while enjoying your foodies. When making a reservation, you can directly choose a minimum of four dishes, because when you arrive at the counter, you will be asked if you want to upgrade to the first row of seats, 500 pesos per seat, which can be used to offset your consumption, so you can add two more dishes when ordering, so that the portion is just right! The location is just opposite the SM shopping center. You can walk around inside now and then walk over when the time is almost up. #cebutrip Great experience. Would have rated 5 stars, but they really need more places to sit. It's a bit difficult to see so much with nowhere to sit. Also, either allow people to bring in drinks, or sell drinks near the entrance. In the heat, having nothing to drink until the end was a bit much, especially without having a place to sit. Lots of things to see. I loved feeding the birds, and watching the divers feeding the fish. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

The Cebu Ocean Park & Events Center is a marine theme park in Cebu City, Philippines. It is currently the largest ocean park in the Philippines, tripling the size of the Manila Ocean Park.

Cebu Ocean Park is just across from SM Seaside so it’s perfect to visit and then go to the mall afterwards for some food or shopping. Ocean Park is quite small but it has a lot of interesting fish to see with a section for reptiles too. During the weekday it wasn’t very crowded so it was a relaxing way to spend an hour or two. There’s even a “fish spa” where you can let the fish nibble at your feet while you take a rest. A little expensive for what it is but worth a visit.
