Waking up for sunrise was totally worth it

#celebrateit Malaga, despite being the 6th largest city in Spain, has surprisingly chilly and easygoing vibe and not much of a crowd—particularly in the old town area. The architectural style itself is in favour of orange hues, so together with the coastal sunlight, at times the city is just immersed in some golden shine. The old town is not huge but quite photogenic. But mind you, a lot of cafes/markets are not open on Sunday. If you’re here for a day, you might wanna avoid Sunday—but at the same time many awesome museums are free on Sun… 👀👀

A short train ride from Malaga airport is the lovely Maracas beach, with a long stretch of sand. Ideal for the kids to play in the sand whilst enjoying a quiet drink and relax.

Andalucia Tour ~ Malaga (Region) The city of Benalmádena stretches from the foothills of the Mijas Mountains to a small spit of land on the coast. The town is situated on a hill, which means there are stunning views. Further down are the buildings of Arroyo de la Miel, where most of the population lives, and finally Benalmádena-Costa, where there are many hotels and golf courses, casinos and marinas. The Castle of Bil-Bil is strikingly original, a peculiar building built on the seafront in 1934 in a neo-Arab style and used by the city council for exhibitions and cultural events. In them, tourists will find everything at their fingertips: from housing developments, modern hotels and restaurants to shops and places to rent sports equipment. Picturesque cliffs offer tranquil coves with beautiful natural scenery, such as La Caleta, la Cala Barranco de Maro or las Calas del Pino. Andalucia Tour ~ Malaga (Region) Located on the slopes of the Almijara Mountains, it offers one of the most spectacular views on the Costa del Sol. The structure and appearance of the old city reflect the layout of the Arab period. Its narrow, winding and often intertwined streets were connected to each other by covered passages, sometimes with closed doors on both sides to enhance the defense of the residents. While touring the old town you will find interesting glazed ceramic mosaics that tell the story of events between the Moors and Christians on the Frigiliana Peninsula. Caminito del Rey is a beautiful #historicallandmarks which is a 5km route with breathtaking views and all kind of bridges. it is suitable for all kinds of fitness levels! I was so amazed that didn't even notice how we finished it. I can only recommend to visit. The only tip is to come in advance. First we parked on the parking area then waited for a but that comes ones in 30 min, then there's around 2km walk from the bas stop to the start point! Coming one hour before your ticket time would be minimum I'd say.

Andalucia Tour ~ Ronda Another viewpoint and opportunity to walk through the old town. According to Garmin, it’s 425 meters from the park and 76 meters of climb. Preferably sneakers. Many of the streets are cobblestone, which may be difficult to navigate in sandals, but it is still possible to walk. There are also many places with stairs and climbing. In fact you might get a little lost. It is important to bring some bottled water and simple snack rations so that everything will be much more comfortable. Generally it's worth walking across the bridge if you want, just in case, you definitely won't miss any views. There are bars/restaurants along the way which are worth stopping for a while. It is possible to enter the bridge, which means you enter a small room with an exhibition. Overall, there is nothing special about it, and not many people go in, so you can see more from the outside. Andalucia Tour ~ Ronda From the observation deck, you can overlook the flowing river of Ronda, the mountain plateau at an altitude of about 700 meters, and the cliff about 100 meters high formed by weathering. You can drive there but you can get off from the old town center. If you are coming from above the old town, there are some places with a big incline but it can be done without much traffic usually. Andalucia Tour ~ Ronda The most "famous" street in Ronda. Be aware that your approach to towns mostly leaves you uninspired, with new buildings bland and unremarkable. However, walk along it to the old town to the bullring and viewpoint where you will find lots of old backstreet traditional places to eat tapas and churros. There are shops and bars everywhere. It's usually busy with shops and bars, but of course it's the most commercial street. There's more to do in Málaga on the Costa del Sol in Spain than just going to the beach! The Caminito del Rey, known as the "world's most thrilling trail," is located in Málaga. On one side is a cliff, and on the other side is a canyon about 700 meters deep. In 1921, Alfonso XIII, then King of Spain, set foot on this trail, hence the name.

With an entrance fee of €5.20, it’s a peaceful escape filled with lush greenery, exotic plants, and even some hidden waterfalls. Walking through the garden felt like a journey around the world, with sections featuring tropical, subtropical, and Mediterranean plants. It’s also a great spot for some shade on a hot day! After exploring, we headed back into Málaga city center for a stroll along the port and some delicious seafood. #August Travel Support Event IU also visited the La Joya del Tajo Observatory in Ronda, Spain. You can see the entire Ronda Nuevo Bridge and the canyon at a glance, and it was even better because you could see it for free without an admission fee. The scenery on the way to the observatory was so beautiful, and the higher you went up to the observatory, the more beautiful the fields and the wider the natural scenery was. It's a quiet atmosphere that's great for a walk, so if you're traveling to Ronda, be sure to visit.

#August Travel Support Event Ponte Nuevo, which I visited during my trip to Ronda, Spain. I couldn't help but be amazed by the high altitude when I saw the bridge connecting the old and new towns and the beautiful scenery around it. I came here because I heard that Hemingway took a walk here, and when I actually came here, it was very nice to walk while getting some fresh air. If you follow the trail, you can enjoy the scenery of Ronda from under the bridge. It was a 20-minute trekking course and the admission fee was 5 euros. If you want to feel the grandeur of nature, I highly recommend visiting.

This enchanting pedestrian thoroughfare takes center stage as Ronda's principal shopping street. Steeped in history and bustling with life, it offers a vibrant glimpse into the soul of this mesmerizing Spanish town. This street is lined with many restaurants where you can enjoy the local delicacies like the Rabo De Toro, Bull’s Tail and of course many other Spanish dishes. There are also plenty of shops to visit and see, tea shops, souvenir shops and even clothing stores. Located at the bottom of calle Larios, stands this proud monument dedicated to the Marquis of Larios, Manuel Domingo Larios, erected in the late 1800,s created by Mariano Benlliure. This is a really nice statue and if you're exploring around the city you're sure to pass it. Well worth checking out. Our dream destination is to go to Hong Kong for my family trip as Hong Kong is paradise for food lovers, offering a wide variety of culinary delights. My family will enjoy it very much.

Ronda, deservedly known as 'the city built in the clouds', is beautiful, comfortable, and free. To fully appreciate the beauty of the city's landmark - the New Bridge of Ronda, you need to put in some thought 🗓From the viewing platforms around the New Bridge, you can capture the angle as shown in picture 1. If you want to capture the view from below as shown in picture 2, you need to locate 📍Mirador La Hoya Del Tajo (Lookout Point) 📝However! The shortcut route given by Google map is closed in the middle! So you can add a stopover point 📍Ruinas de la Alcazaba, take a detour, and when you see the sign in picture 3 at the stopover point, you can go down the stairs on the right. It takes about half an hour to walk from the New Bridge to the destination. After reaching the destination and taking photos, if you see many people continue to climb up the mountain, that! is! not! a! shortcut! The road ahead is still closed as tested, so you can only return the same way... The scenery on this trip is very good, but it is indeed a bit intense to go down the mountain and then up the mountain. If you don't do much outdoor exercise normally, please consider it carefully. I tried to take a taxi back up the mountain, but found it cost 60 euros , poverty made me climb up again~ If it's sunset, on the way back, pass by the stopover point 📍Ruinas de la Alcazaba again, take some photos on the city wall, it's very photogenic and you can see the pink sunset (pictures 456).
