[Monaco🇲🇨] A one-day tour of Monaco, the most expensive country in the world
30 minutes by train from Nice. We went to Monaco, said to be the richest country in the world 🇲🇨
I will introduce the one-day sightseeing course to everyone 💁♀️
10:30 Arrive Monaco Monte-carlo Station
11:00 In front of the Prince's Palace of Monaco
We walked from the station 🚶 It's quite a steep hill to climb, but we enjoyed the view of Monaco city lined with skyscrapers!
It's off-season so we can't go inside, but it seems that you can enter from around the end of March 🎫
11:30 Monaco Cathedral
I've visited many churches, but this church was very solemn and the use of light was very beautiful. The ceiling mosaics, altar paintings, and interior decoration were all wonderful ⛪️
11:55 Changing of the guard in front of the Prince's Palace of Monaco
We returned to the palace and watched the changing of the guard ceremony 💂♂️ The synchronized march was impressive, and it was great to see it live!
12:15 Eat at a nearby restaurant
13:00 Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
A marine facility founded by the Prince of Monaco 🐟
There were many exhibits worthy of a museum, including the aquarium exhibits, ships, the history of its founding, and stuffed Arctic creatures (limited-time event).
It was the most luxurious building I've ever been to, and the interior and the way the exhibits were displayed were all wonderful 🥺
15:00 Chocolaterie de Monaco
Chocolate used by the royal family. I bought some as a souvenir! As expected of Monaco, even a single chocolate is quite expensive, but I think it would make a great souvenir 🍫
16:00 Walk around the F1 course
When you think of Monaco, you think of F1! It takes about an hour to walk around the course, so we went around while sightseeing.
This course allows you to enjoy the Monte Carlo area, so I recommend it because you can enjoy the scenery while you go around!
On the way, we also passed the Casino de Monte Carlo, and there were a lot of luxury cars at the entrance 🏎️I don't know much about cars, but I was very excited!
I didn't have the confidence to enjoy the casino this time, but I would like to enjoy it here again if I visit next time ☺️
I did a lot of sightseeing on foot, but it's a small country so it wasn't a problem at all. If you plan to travel by car, it's best to allow yourself plenty of time as some places can get quite crowded depending on the time of day 🏎️
It was a quick trip, but I was able to get around the old town, the Monte Carlo area, and other famous spots 🚶
I hope this is helpful to everyone ☺️
