The building is a villa-style garden with Spanish-style steps at the entrance for direct access. Now the interior has been converted into an exhibition space, and the flower bed in front of the house has been converted into a pool. The Interweaving of Culture and Time
Day 1: Echoes of History Among the Ruins
In the early morning, we strolled through the Ruins of St. Paul's, feeling the weight and vicissitudes of history as the sunlight fell on the stone steps. Next, we headed to the nearby Oriental Foundation, a modest yet elegant building that witnessed the history of Sino-Portuguese cultural exchange. The exhibition hall displays a wealth of precious documents and artifacts, telling the story of Macau as a meeting point between East and West, from the Maritime Silk Road to modern cultural integration. Outside the window, the quiet alleys, with their ancient red brick walls and bluestone roads, seem to whisper the city's past.
Day 2: The Tranquility and Bustle of the City
On the second day, we chose Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, a place far from the city's hustle and bustle. The serene lake and pavilions surrounded by greenery create a peaceful haven. Along the winding paths, we saw elderly people practicing calligraphy and families leisurely strolling, bringing a sense of life. In the afternoon, we moved to Senado Square, where the bustling shops and local snacks allowed us to experience the vitality and enthusiasm of Macau. The day's rhythm, from leisurely to lively, mirrors the multifaceted charm of this city, making it unforgettable.

A Place Where History and Culture Converge
The headquarters of the Orient Foundation is a building that stands quietly through the ages, witnessing the brilliant history of the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The grayish-blue exterior walls and the simple and elegant European design reveal the classical beauty of the colonial period. The interior exhibition halls are rich in content, with documents, pictures, and artworks meticulously depicting Macau's past and present as a bridge between Eastern and Western cultures. Walking through it feels like a dialogue with history, experiencing the profound significance of cultural exchange. The courtyard is lush with greenery, complementing the tranquil atmosphere around it, making it a serene corner for travelers to pause and reflect. The headquarters of the Orient Foundation is not just a building, but a cultural beacon connecting the past and the future, inviting people to stop and reminisce.
