I'd like to share our trip to Caramoan island!!
I couldn't believe another adventure is off on our list. At first we were hesitant to visit the island knowing we have to take a looong trip of 15-hour travel (both by land & by sea). Quite a hassle? Yes, definitely cz we always hop into an island with just our backpacks on without any reservation or contact. Also I was afraid expectations would turn out to be, just expectations when we get to see the place. We took the risk and nah! Beauty is indeed an understatement. It's a magical place! Everything is clearly untouched. No wonder why it was chosen to be a venue for survivor. A region of just purely islands which you can completely finish in 3 consecutive days. Unfortunately, we were not able to see all but majority of the islands we hve vsited are just astonishing! Startlingly impressive! How can a sand bar turn out to be a pool with floating cottages which you can just pull over beside you wherever you go? Or a beach between two gigantic rocks that disappear during high tide? Wouldn't you get amazed swimming in a 100ft deep ocean with crystal clear water and still able to see what lies beyond its depth? Scary but exciting though. And my favorite part is when I stood on a mini sand bar and 5 meters next to it is the Pacific Ocean 🤗 A sand bar in an open sea?! I could have died! Haha! It was a hell of adventure! My heart is once again full. We have another great story to tell 😊
P.S.
Everytime we go on a vacation, we usually don't cut down our budget in order to achieve a low cost type of travel. We allocate our funds more on food for our own convenience. It defeats the purpose of having a chance to wander through the place and experience its specialties if ever we jump into a defense budgeting. So below is our detailed itinerary and budget break down:

PARADISE IN BICOL
Afternoon trip in Sabitang Laya. Sabitang Laya in Lucsuhin group of Island is a triangular island bounded by a long fine white shoreline. The long stretch of the beach can reach up to 2 kilometers if combined. Like the other island, it is ideal for swimmers, beach combers and snorkelers. It is also has tall and large cliffs perfect for rock climbing and repelling adventures.
It was claimed to be the “Survivors” favorite shooting location among the other islands of Caramoan.

LOST IN PARADISE
Island hopping at Cotivas Island. Experience the feeling of being lost in a paradise. Cotivas Island is like a dessert of fine white sandbars during low tides. It is as if you’re in a paradise of endless skies, with a backdrop of a green tropical island and clear ocean waters gently rushing to your feet. Indeed a perfect place for day dreaming and relaxation.
Cotivas Island, like many other islands off the coast of Camarines Sur's Caramoan Peninsula, is uninhabited, creating a deserted tropical paradise ambiance. It's no surprise that it was used as a filming location for Survivor: Philippines and Survivor: Caramoan (Fans vs Favorites).
Between the larger islands of Lahuy and Basot is Cotivas. Tourists frequently visit the island for lunch. Small huts now appear, providing a resting place for beach bums who want to spend the day frolicking in the blue waters like a castaway.
