Burnt ends bakery is situated at 7 Dempsey Road and this hidden bakery is famous for their delicious baked goods. Some of their items, such as their bombolinis, are so popular that they get sold out as early as in the morning. At Burnt ends bakery, baked goods such as 1kg Woodfired sourdough loaf, quiche, beef pie, scones, crossiants, etc are sold. Cold brew coffee, other coffee and tea drinks are also sold. The bakery is modern and has a nice industrial interior design. There may be no tables or seats but there's a standing dining area to enjoy your pastries and drinks. I ordered their ice cream on chocolate bombolini and it was soft, puffy, oozing with chocolate and it goes so well with the creamery ice cream on top. The berry tart that I bought was equally delicious and filled with lots of berries. Come to Burnt ends bakery for some enjoyable treats, you will love it! #singapore address - 7 Dempsey Rd, #01-02, Singapore 249671 review - a Australian bbq restaurant newly renovated at Dempsey. it is so difficult to get a table at the dining room! we managed to book before the regular dining hour at the bar. it looks so much like an apothecary. so medieval and thoughtfully renovated. ordered a drink and their food tasting menu (not bar bites) comes with 4-5 dishes in small portion to try. it has most of the famous dishes. love the experience. tho you can’t choose any dish or get to order from their regular menu, at least you get to try all the good dishes. if you want to dine at burnt ends yet can’t get seats, can try this method like me. I went on a Saturday. so crowded. so super worth it! prices are more ex on regular menu of cos. damage - $75-150 per pax

If you’re looking for a casual but Michelin rated restaurant for a date with your Valentine, Burnt Ends @ Dempsey is a lovely choice! Ambience is cosy and service is excellent. Food is also great, don’t miss asking for the pulled pork burger (off the menu) - it’s not to be missed! Top it off with a toasted marshmallow to end the Valentine meal! I will be back! One of the many places highly recommended by so many people I know. Decided to visit the place for my partner’s birthday—super pumped! Reserved a bar seat for two and that almost torpedoed my plan for a lunch date. I had overlooked the bar seats were away from the kitchen and facing the wall! Not that it mattered on any normal day, but it’s my partner's Birthday! When I walked into the restaurant, the host read the situation well and offered to swap us to the counter table. I’m super thankful that she saved the day! Phew~ Now for the food, we ordered: - White Pepper Chicken Necks - Beef and Red Curry Taco - W.A Marron, Tobiko, and Kombu Buerre Blanc (Lobster) - 93 Days Dry Aged Blackmores' Cube Roll (steak) - Chicken and Peri-Peri Steak’s tender and juicy (medium well); it’s good no doubt. Beef tacos and chicken neck are really tasty and it reminded me of the days when I’m back in the states (it’s really hard to find good tacos in Singapore). They are simple dishes, yet they are delicious longing for more. The lobster, however, did disappoint me a little. The size of the lobster was small and the flavor didn't rise to my expectations. The lobster’s meat is covered by the sauce and the first disappointment comes when you use your fork to remove the flesh from the shell. Did I just pay $95 for this? Get out of here! The lobster meat was firm, smooth, juicy, and a little sweet on my first bite-- this is expected, but the flavor profile is not as invigorating. Something I’d skip the next time. By the time we had Chicken Peri Peri, we were so full but we continued to march on… The taste is AMAZING I think and well cooked and would so order them again as the flavor stands out so well. Finished off the meal with a simple marshmallow which both of us enjoyed. If you haven’t heard, the 1-MICHELIN star restaurant Burnt Ends will be moving out of their Keong Saik outlet after 7.5 years. While the new space in Dempsey Road is still undergoing renovations, their bakery section is now open to serve up some mean bakes! 🍞🥯 As the bakery have their own section that’s separate from the restaurant now, they’re able to accommodate walk-in orders, but it can get really crowded in the morning though. 🌤 The space reminds us of the cafés in Bali, with beautiful concrete and wooden accents. We heard great things about their 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀 and had to get our hands on them. Although they’re quite small, the fluffiness is so satisfying and the filling is pleasantly light! 🍩 Other than that, they have savoury options like the 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 & 𝗢𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲, which is like a salty biscuit that’s so addictive.
