The Burnaby Country Museum, located in Burnaby deer lake, is very different from the usual museums. It is not like the museums we usually walk around, with the exhibits placed in a large exhibition hall. I am so lucky and grateful to have the chance to stay at Vancouver for 10 days during my time here in Canada. In these 10 days, my cousin took me to different places, and here I’ll share some of my favorite spots in Vancouver. 🏞️Stanley Park Stanley Park is really one of the most beautiful parks in Vancouver. There are many beautiful creatures like little ducks residing there. If you keep walking, you will reach the ocean and have a nice sunset view. I see many people jogging and biking there. You can really feel the liveliness from this place. 📍Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4, Canada 🌃Vancouver Downtown At the downtown, you can see the age old steamed clock. My favorite restaurant there is The Old Spaghetti Factory🍝The price is reasonable and not pricy in the central part of Vancouver where everything is somewhat a little bit more expensive. 🏮China Town🪭 Vancouver is a city with Asian immigrants, so in China Town, you can see a lot of historical Chinese buildings and get the taste of the eastern aesthetic. 🚉Vancouver Sky Train Vancouver Sky Train is an affordable way to move around in the city. I like the design of it and on the Sky Train you can see many different views of Vancouver. 🐠Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf, Richmond🐟 This is a place where you can enjoy the breeze of the sea from the Pacific Ocean. At around 4p.m. in winter time, the sunset is beautiful to witness here🌅Also, you should definitely have the classy fish and chips here. The fish is fresh and crispy, and it’s nice to eat it with the costal view and sunset. 📍3800 Bayview St, Richmond, BC V7E 6K7, Canada 🌊Rocky Point Park You have to go to Rocky Point Ice Cream🍦if you visit here. There are many restaurants and cafes in Vancouver, but there aren't many places that specialize in tea. This brand specializes in tea and the quality is pretty good~ There are two stores in Vancouver, and on this day, I went to the store in Metrotown Shopping Mall and ordered an O-Matcha Latte hot~ The taste was, as expected, the best!!! |An encounter with a magnificent bloom. 📍 Location: 6776 Grant Place, Burnaby Date: April 6, 2025 Today, I'll take you to Grant Place in Burnaby, one of the must-see cherry blossom streets I've recommended, and it still holds a spot in the top three cherry blossom streets in Vancouver. I've visited twice, once during peak bloom to capture its breathtaking beauty with my camera, and again today, amidst falling blossoms, to capture its ethereal charm with my phone. Though the styles differ, each frame is captivating. Today, I'll share its stunning beauty at its peak. Standing beneath the cherry blossoms, I instantly forgave Vancouver's long, depressing rainy season. The sky opened up to reveal a burst of pink. Grant Place wasn't just a street; it was Vancouver's redemption from the rainy season—millions of cherry blossoms tore through the gloom, their pink petals glowing softly in the sunlight, like pink snow, falling gently into the eyes of every onlooker. In that moment, all the descriptions of paradise in religious texts seemed to materialize in this cherry blossom tunnel. No words, no matter how eloquent, no camera, no matter how advanced, could fully capture the awe and wonder I felt. Each cherry blossom tree here is a masterpiece of nature, its sturdy branches gracefully outstretched, a canopy of petals filtering the sunlight. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, I felt the essence of spring fill my lungs. When the wind blew, millions of delicate blossoms whispered like a prayer, even the air blushing like a young girl's cheeks. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia, and the overall experience left a lasting impression on us. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Burnaby, within walking distance to one of British Columbia's largest shopping centers, Metropolis at Metrotown. Additionally, the SkyTrain provides convenient transportation options to downtown Vancouver and Rogers Arena. The hotel staff were exceptional, polite, friendly, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed, making our stay feel even more welcoming. The only downside we encountered was the hotel's buffet breakfast. While it was decent, we found the food to be a bit bland and not quite up to the expected quality for the price. Overall, our experience was very pleasant, and we are happy to recommend the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown to family and friends visiting the Greater Vancouver area.

Mountain Park is about 30 minutes by bus or car from downtown Vancouver. There aren't many people, and the park is full of nature and history, so you can spend a relaxing time! It was a perfect place for a picnic🧺 Burnaby seems to be a sister city of Kushiro City in Hokkaido, and there seems to be a totem pole sent from Kushiro City. Burnaby Central Park was established in 1891, located in the heart of Greater Vancouver, covering nearly 9 hectares. What's most attractive is that much of its land has been preserved as a well-preserved temperate rainforest ecosystem, with countless walking trails. This includes an award-winning children's playground, sports courts and pitch-and-putt golf, outdoor swimming facilities, lawn bowling facilities, several picnic areas, tennis courts, and several little duck ponds.
