Korat's Hidden Gem: Bung Ta Lua Park
This time in Korat, I decided to find a place to refresh my lungs at 'Bung Ta Lua Park,' the largest public park in the area. The park features a large pond that was intentionally dug in the past to provide water for agriculture and consumption. Nowadays, it has become a hub for locals who enjoy exercising, whether it's running or renting a bike to ride around the park. The park boasts a running track and a road that stretches over 3 kilometers. In the evening, people gather to do aerobics, paddle swan boats, kayak, engage in coloring activities, or have picnics with snacks and meals with friends, family, and loved ones. The atmosphere is lively and full of energy.
What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the park, which is well-maintained by the staff. There are also check-in points for content creators to take photos, such as the Wang Khanai Bridge, a white suspension bridge that spans the pond, offering stunning views of both sides of the water and the sunset. There are also various installation art pieces to include in your photos. You could easily spend hours here without getting bored.
