Bui Vien Walking Street is like a miniature Khao San Road. The length of the street is similar to Khao San Road but the street is wider. There is a chill-out area that is not a pub on another street, similar to Soi Bang Lamphu. There are restaurants selling seafood, Indian restaurants, and street food such as grilled squid. The price of beer here is 5 times more expensive than in supermarkets. Beer in Vietnam costs about 23 baht per can, but if you eat in a shop on the street, the price will be 130 baht. The music is so-so. The food here is tourist-priced but still cheaper than in Thailand. I got a short trip to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam for actually an English test. But I sneaked out for some historical places and got so overwhelmed by what was shown there. It was really sad but so proud that it shedded my tears. Unluckily, when I came to The Independence Palace, it was closed due to some reasons we didn’t know. Bui Vien walking street is famous for nighty night with pubs and bars. So it’s not surprised to see full of beer/ wine clubs along the street. Ben Thanh market, everything is so expensive there. 🥹 I guess it’s for tourism so we only could eat a desserts there and not able to buy anything else. I would love to come there again though since there are many places I haven’t gone to yet. #bucketlistreboot

On the way there, I had a transit until the next morning, so I booked a hotel for one night, went shopping in Guangzhou, and took a walk to Beijing Road by subway. It was easy to use the subway, so it was no problem even for the first time. I recommend airport transfers from each airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. You will be picked up at the exit, so you don't have to worry even if you have a lot of luggage. The next morning, I went to Ho Chi Minh right away. Immigration at Tan Son Nhat Airport was extremely crowded and took exactly one hour. It was a waste of time. But in Ho Chi Minh, the shuttle waited for me at the exit, so I didn't have to worry. I was able to keep the airfare down, so I stayed at Sedona Suites in Ho Chi Minh. It was very clean and well located, just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market, and Saigon Square was right in front of me. The breakfast was also great. After enjoying two days in Ho Chi Minh, I returned home via Guangzhou. I had a transit of one and a half hours on the way back, but I was able to transfer smoothly. This time I flew with China Southern Airlines round trip, and there was plenty of room for checked baggage, so I was relieved. Of course, in-flight meals were also included.

Ho Chi Minh tourist street. I visited a little early the first day, around 6 o'clock, and the second day, after 8 o'clock, and it was a whole new world. It seems like all the pretty girls in Vietnam are here. They dance, the music is thumping, there are various colorful lights, live music, and various foods.

It was really awesome to grab a bottle of beer in Bui Vien walking street and immerse to its vibrant music.

Bui Vien is famous for attracting many tourists and has attractive services. Open all night.
