Penang’s botanical garden is nearby Penang Hill, so we visited both in one afternoon. The gardens were originally established in 1884 and covers 29 hectares of land. There is an herb garden, succulent garden, fern house, Japanese garden, and more. It was raining while we were there, but there were also gazebos around for shelter.
