Originally, I had planned to spend one day at Yunshanping and another day at Blue Moon Valley and Glacier Park. That way, I could dress up nicely every day and have a great time. But who knew I wouldn't be able to get tickets to Glacier Park? So, I had to visit Blue Moon Valley and Yunshanping on the same day. We went to Yunshanping first and took lots of beautiful photos there. After taking photos at Yunshanping, we found a large and clean restroom at the center, where we changed clothes. It was very convenient. After changing clothes, we took the cable car down the mountain. After getting off the cable car, we took a free bus to Blue Moon Valley. Everything went smoothly. The water in Blue Moon Valley is not as blue as it used to be, but it still looks beautiful to us. The scenery is truly healing, and it makes you feel happy. All your worries seem to disappear! One important thing to remind everyone is to protect yourself from the sun! The weather in Lijiang is both cold and sunny. I'm a good example. You can walk around the lakes or sit by the lake and enjoy the scenery. We visited in August during summer holidays and it was packed with people but still we were able to enjoy. Small tip: If you want to enjoy the scenery on the first photo, walk on your right side when you take off the bus. We walked to the other side and had to walk back to enjoy this view. Definitely worth it!

One of the best feelings ever! That breeze was beyond satisfaction. Fresh air, Great tress, crystal clear water that makes you want to dive in and drink it. The view is spectacular and walking along the path was one of my favourite activities in Lijiang. I strongly suggest you try it as soon as possible. Great place to take photos too. You may be lucky to come across a yak and sit on it for a photo. Make sure you explore it!

First scenic stop that everyone is recommending is Blue Moon Valley. On pictures it looks amazing and it's mostly used as a photo opportunity. You can rent some local clothes, walk around, take pics with yak etc. Driving from Lijiang was ok, lot of parking space nearby gate where you can take a bus to scenic spot. We tried to bypass this, but at the end we didn't have anywhere to park nearby. Disappointment was that this is not natural lake, bottom of the lake is even painted in that nice blue shade. Clouds were covering mountain tops, so we didn't have luck with that either. We went to Yak medow and ended up in foggy surroundings. At least you can go there by car and park for free. Getting There 🚗 is the same area with yulong jade dragon mountains 🏔️. so once you enter this area, all the transportation is provided by them . you car only can stop until the main gate . Attractions🎡 it’s a blue lake . and I can say it’s really looks blue color. it’s because a lots of bacteria 🦠 life in this lake. and for your information, swimming is forbidden in this lake. If not for the fact it took us almost an hour and a half to get there from Lijiang Old Town by Didi (due to a traffic jam) it would have been a perfect day. Blue Moon Valley (蓝月谷) is an extremely blue river meandering through a lush valley of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain between Ganhaizi (甘海子) and Spruce Meadow (云杉坪) . This is one of the most amazing places I've ever been in China. The sceneries are incredible! It's. more beautiful than expected. The lake is super clean and blue, it is generated by the water aggregation of the snow mountain, it is transparent and gem-like. The Yulong Snow Mountain background in the distance is spectacular. You can have the best shots if Mr. Sun is in the mood. I rented ethnic costumes, 15 shots for 198 yuan including the make-up.
