【Recommended Attractions】
1⃣️Cheong Wa Dae
If you want to see the real 'presidential suite', come here. This was once the presidential palace and official residence of twelve Korean presidents. After the presidential palace moved away in 2022, part of it was officially opened to tourists. The autumn scenery in the garden is very good.
.
2⃣️Yennam-dong
A street that young people in Korea like to visit nowadays, it gathers various food shops, clothing stores, and coffee houses.
.
3⃣️Everland
A park that combines a zoo and an amusement park, you can not only watch animals up close, but also play various entertainment facilities. Of course, you can see the top panda Fubao!
.
4⃣️HIKR Hospitality Space
A good place to experience K-POP, there are 5 floors in total, the top floor has a super popular queue king cake shop, each floor has different experiences, all are free, such as dancing kpop on the same stage as the star, taking four-frame big head stickers, etc. You can also collect stamps to complete tasks and receive souvenirs
.
5⃣️Bukchon Hanok Village
Improved Hanok settlement, there are many small fresh Hanok coffee houses/independent exhibition halls/guest houses here, which are very suitable for taking pictures in Hanbok.
.
6⃣️Star Library COEX
Open library space, very spectacular and beautiful, photo check-in YYDS, there are many local couples who will come here for a date.
.
7⃣️Lotte World Tower SEOUL SKY
The 117-123 floors inside the tower are the SEOUL SKY observatory, where you can enjoy a 360° view of Seoul, and there are many coffee shops. Waiting for a sunset here in the evening is very romantic... The coffee & western restaurant on the 123rd floor is slightly expensive, but you can gain a quiet and elegant environment and a high and open view.
.
【Tips】
1⃣️Phone: Buy a phone card online in advance, and you can use it after landing; rent Wi-Fi, pick up and return at the airport, the disadvantage is that you need to charge it every day; mobile roaming package, convenient but slightly expensive.
2⃣️Checkout: Change a small amount of change in advance, the rest can be swiped, of course, you can also change more cash and pay directly in cash. Many chain stores can pay with blue software

The Blue House, the bosom of the people 🍃
I was so curious about the opening of Cheong Wa Dae!
The building's color scheme is so luxurious and beautiful, with a sophisticated touch of traditional Korean color that is truly impressive.
The natural colors are so beautiful that color correction was hardly necessary 🥺
🏷️The most curious place was the main building of Cheong Wa Dae (2-7).
A space for the president's official duties and diplomatic meetings.
🏷️The presidential residence (8-9).
A living space for the president and their family.
I couldn't go inside, but I could roughly see through the window...
Located right in front of Gyeongbokgung, visiting Cheong Wa Dae and Gyeongbokgung at the same time is the best itinerary👍

‘Cheong Wa Dae’ is now open to the public
‘Cheong Wa Dae’, which translates into Blue House in Korean and functions as equivalent to the White House in the US is now open to the public after 74 years with Yoon Suk-yeol taking office as South Korea’s new president.
Before opening up to the public beginning this May, Cheng Wa Dae served as an executive office and official residence of the president of South Korea.

Seoul - Cheong Wa Dae interior.
During this trip to Korea, I was surprised to be able to visit the interior of Cheong Wa Dae, as it was once the official residence of the President of Korea. It was a rare opportunity to visit up close and learn about the history of Korea's ruling party.
❤Recommended reason:
Cheong Wa Dae was newly built during the presidency of Roh Tae-woo. The president's office, reception hall, conference room, and most of the interior are open to the public. You can see many Chinese calligraphy works and large oil paintings, which shows that Korea is very good at integrating Eastern and Western cultures.

Blue Tiles Reflecting the Sky: Exploring the Symbol of Power and Culture in Korea
Walking into Seoul's Blue House, you can see the serene blue tiles shining under the blue sky from afar. The combination of white walls and blue tiles is simple yet elegant, with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Bukak, the overall architecture exudes a sense of solemnity and tranquility.
Strolling through the plaza outside the Blue House, you feel the intertwining of history and modernity. As the presidential residence of South Korea, it has witnessed countless important national decisions and historical moments, while also retaining a rich traditional cultural atmosphere. The detailed explanations from the guides provide a glimpse into the profound meaning of its architecture, the symbolism of the blue tiles, and the importance of its geographical location, all reflecting Korea's emphasis on feng shui and aesthetics.
As the sun sets, the Blue House is bathed in the warm afterglow, with the surrounding trees and buildings complementing each other, making it appear even more composed and serene. In this space that blends the symbol of power with natural harmony, I felt not only a visual impact but also a deep respect for Korean history and culture.

Seoul~Cheong Wa Dae exterior.
On March 20, 2022, South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol announced that the South Korean presidential office would be moved from Cheong Wa Dae to the Ministry of National Defense building in Yongsan District, Seoul. As a result, Cheong Wa Dae has been open to the public since May 10, 2022.
📍Address:
Hyoja-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
🕙Opening hours:
7:00 am–7:00 pm
❤Recommended reason:
The exterior garden of Cheong Wa Dae is beautiful, especially the landscape design. The pine trees and flowers create a solemn yet soft and elegant beauty.
Cheong Wa Dae was originally a detached palace of the Goryeo Dynasty. After the establishment of the Joseon Dynasty, Cheong Wa Dae was connected to Gyeongbokgung Palace and became part of the rear garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
In 1927, Japanese colonizers destroyed all the buildings in the rear garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace except for Ounjeong Pavilion and built the residence of the Governor-General of Korea.
Cheong Wa Dae was newly built during the presidency of Roh Tae-woo. The main building of Cheong Wa Dae is the official residence of the President of South Korea.

Have you heard about the Yellow Bus Tour in Seoul?
There is a Yellow Bus Tour in Seoul, South Korea.
I participated in the Traditional Culture Course Tour.
The bus stops at major tourist attractions in our country, such as Dongdaemun, Euljiro, Gwanghwamun Square, the Blue House, Seoul Station, Insadong, Gwangjang Market, and Namsan.
You can get off at any stop you want and get back on whenever you wish.
It was convenient to use this transportation at an affordable price, and it also felt like traveling far abroad.
I took my mom, who used to live in this area, and she loved it. I plan to experience it again with my children.
Seoul is so beautiful.
Everyone should try it at least once.
It was as beautiful and wonderful as the bus tour I took in New York.

The Intersection of History and Modernity—The Majestic Aura of the Blue House
The Blue House, formerly the presidential residence of South Korea, is not only a political center but also an architectural gem that blends tradition and modernity. Standing in front of the Blue House, the blue-tiled roof symbolizing Korean culture, set against the backdrop of the lush Bukhansan Mountain, creates a solemn and serene atmosphere. It is more than just a building; it is a symbol of the fusion of history and modernity.
During the visit, I was deeply captivated by the traditional Korean architectural style surrounding the Blue House. The blue tiles and white walls harmoniously blend with the natural landscape, perfectly showcasing the essence of Korean traditional aesthetics. Here, you can not only feel the rich historical atmosphere but also see a microcosm of modern national operations. The most special part is standing in the courtyard of the Blue House, where you can gaze at the interwoven scenery of Seoul's modern buildings and natural mountains, offering a unique charm.
A visit to the Blue House is not only a visual delight but also a profound insight into Korean history, culture, and modern political development. Here, you can clearly feel the passage of time and change, while also appreciating the country's commitment to preserving traditional culture amidst innovation. Whether you are a history enthusiast or a follower of modern culture, the Blue House is worth exploring.

The Blue House in South Korea: A meeting point of history and modernity.
Located at No. 1 Sejong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, the Blue House is a building that carries deep historical and modern political significance in South Korea. As the official residence of the President of the Republic of Korea, the Blue House is not only the heart of Korean politics, but also an important symbol of Korean history and culture.
The history of the Blue House can be traced back to the Goryeo Dynasty, when it was originally a detached palace. With the changes of history, the Blue House was incorporated into the back garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace during the Joseon Dynasty, and buildings such as Longwu Hall, Qingnongzhai, and the martial arts field were built, becoming an important place for royal activities. However, the modern significance of the Blue House began during the Japanese colonial period, when the Japanese colonists destroyed all the buildings in the back garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace except Wuyunge, and established the Governor's Mansion of Korea on its basis.
After Korea's independence, the Blue House gradually evolved into the political center of Korea. After the establishment of the Republic of Korea in 1948, the first president, Lee Seung-wan, named it "Jingwutai", but this name was not used for long. In 1960, after the second president, Yun Bo-shan, took office, in order to avoid the word "wu" and correspond to the White House in the United States, he renamed this white-walled and blue-tiled building "Blue House", which has since become the place where successive Korean presidents work and live.
The main building of the Blue House is the core part of the Blue House. It not only has the president's residence, office, reception hall, and conference room, but also has facilities such as the secretary's office, guard room, and guest house. The design of the main building fully demonstrates the aesthetic concept of Korean traditional architecture, especially its blue-tiled roof and curved design, which has become the most representative symbol of the Blue House. There are 150,000 blue tiles, each of which can be used for more than 100 years, which is not only beautiful but also durable.
In addition to the main building, the Blue House also includes a guest house, a green garden, a Wuchun flower garden, and seven palaces. The guest house is a place specially prepared for foreign guests, and its majestic appearance and solemn atmosphere are impressive. The Green Garden and Wuchun Flower Garden are good places for walking and leisure. They are planted with various flowers and trees. Especially the Wuchun Flower Garden is colorful from July to October. The Seven Palaces are seven traditional-style palaces and elegant courtyards from the Joseon era. Since it was opened to the public in 2001, it has attracted a large number of tourists to visit.
The historical and political significance of the Blue House makes it a focus of attention for the Korean people. However, with the changes of the times and the increasing demand of the people for an open and transparent government, the issue of opening the Blue House has always been a hot topic in society. In recent years, the Korean government has gradually increased the opening of the Blue House, allowing more people to have the opportunity to feel this building where history and modernity are intertwined.
On March 20, 2022, South Korea's president-elect Yoon Seok-yeol announced that the South Korean presidential palace would be moved from the Blue House to the Ministry of National Defense building in Yongsan District, Seoul. This decision marked the end of the "Blue House era" that lasted for 74 years. With the entry of President Yoon Seok-yeol and the full opening of the Blue House to the public, this building has gradually transformed from a power center to an open park and historical and cultural landmark.
Today's Blue House not only carries South Korea's profound historical heritage and political significance, but has also become a good place for people to relax and sightsee. Whether it is to appreciate the beauty of the Blue House or to understand the history and culture of South Korea, the Blue House is a place not to be missed. Here, people can feel the unique charm of the interweaving of Korean history and modern political vitality.

Review of the Blue House Open Reservation Weekend Tour, Places to Visit in Seoul
#Domestic travel
📍1 Cheongwadae-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
⏰ 9:00~18:00 (Indoor viewing lasts: ~17:30//Regularly closed every Tuesday)
📌Visit reservation: Cheongwadae website
The Cheongwadae space has been open since 2022. When it first opened, reservations were often closed quickly, so I failed to make a reservation every time, but now, from 9:00 to 17:00, 6 time slots are available for reservations every 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I visited on the weekend when the 9:00 time slot opened, and many people, from Koreans to foreigners and group tourists, visit here.
The Cheongwadae interior is really well managed, so it is a place where you can take a lot of photos of your life.
The Cheongwadae interior is really spacious, so it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours to tour leisurely, so I recommend bringing an umbrella and water and wearing comfortable shoes.
I hope you make a reservation and visit the Blue House, which you want to visit all four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Seoul 3-Day Tour
Went to Korea in March🇰🇷, now catching up on homework.
Let's talk about my Seoul 3-day itinerary today
🗺️【Itinerary】
D1⃣️Landing in Seoul——Shopping & Eating in Myeong-dong (Myeong-dong Cathedral)——Namsan Seoul Tower——Myeong-dong Comic Street
D2⃣️ Ewha Womans University——Deoksugung Palace——Starfield Library——Gwangjang Market——Cheonggyecheon Stream——Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)
D3⃣️Gyeongbokgung Palace——Blue House——Bukchon Hanok Village——Han River
🛌【Accommodation】
📍Recommended to stay near Myeong-dong, convenient for food, drink, and entertainment.
👍【Recommendations】
🔘Myeong-dong: Shopping and eating, fresh and youthful style, affordable prices. There's also Myeong-dong Cathedral and Comic Street.
🔘Ewha Womans University: Beautiful scenery, photogenic architecture.
❗Free, but the sign says no tourists allowed, so keep a low profile when taking photos.
🔘Deoksugung Palace: An unexpected surprise, the ticket is only 1,000 Korean won.
As a secondary palace, it's much less crowded than Gyeongbokgung Palace, offering a great visiting experience with all the essential halls and thrones. The architectural style is more diverse, including Western-style buildings.
🔘Dongdaemun Design Plaza DDP: A must-visit for architecture enthusiasts and fans of Zaha Hadid. Streamlined design, photogenic inside and out, with many angles to shoot from, suitable for both wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The night view is even better.
🔘Gyeongbokgung Palace: The Korean Imperial Palace, a must-visit attraction. There's a guard change ceremony at Heungnyemun Square at 10 am and 2 pm, lasting about 15-20 minutes.
💰The ticket is 3,000 Korean won, available on-site. Payment by Visa, Mastercard, and cash is accepted, and wearing a Hanbok grants free entry.
🔘Blue House: The former presidential residence, now open for free visits. Exchange your passport for a ticket at the small booth at the entrance.
Remember to pick up a guide map at the entrance, which includes a map and introduction. In addition to the main buildings, there's also the presidential residence, hiking trails, and historical relics. If you have enough time, it's worth exploring.
🙃【Complaints】
☑️Stairs: The subway stations really have endless stairs, it's exhausting with luggage.
☑️Seoul Tower: A landmark attraction, you'll regret not going, but also regret going. I didn't encounter long queues, just felt the ticket was too expensive and not worth it.
Tickets can be purchased via Alipay QR code, or look for cheaper tickets on various platforms.
☑️Gwangjang Market: First of all, there's no dining environment to speak of, it's just like a food stall. Food homogenization is serious, everywhere you look there are potato pancakes, very oily...
☑️Bukchon Hanok Village: It should be featured on travel platforms worldwide, crowded with tourists of all skin colors, really not photogenic, plus there's a hill to climb. If you want to take photos with Korean characteristics, Gyeongbokgung Palace is better, it's spacious, you can spread out, and you can always find a corner with no people to take a good shot.

A great Seoul travel destination to visit with your parents! It's the Blue House.
After the Blue House returned to the people's arms,
there were many applicants and there was a long waiting list, but recently,
it's quite spacious even if you make a reservation on the weekend~
But when you actually go, there are a lot of people, and
it rained on the day I went😅, but it's perfect for a light outing on the weekend!
My parents especially liked it~
It's amazing to see a place I've seen on TV news,
and you can make memories while talking about old times❣️
Plus, the admission fee is free, so make a reservation in advance on the weekend and go!
🍯Honey Tip|There's a free shuttle bus from Gyeongbokgung Station.
If there are a lot of people and parking is inconvenient, try using the round-trip shuttle.

Blue House
#koreatrip It was pretty nice to visit, there were many employees along the way helping you find the right path. I was very impressed how big this place was. The only thing that was stressful was that it’s quite a lot walking up hill, so if you are planning on visiting with older people, try and plan more time for walking between places. My MIL had some issues walking uphill but it was still very nice. The had plenty of resting spots so it was no issue to sit down for a bit. I would recommend it. Also please by a ticket in advance, since it can get very crowded.

The Blue House in South Korea | One Blue House, half of Korean history
🌟 Highlights: The most notable feature of the Blue House, the political center of South Korea, is its blue tiles. Some also call the Blue House the "Blue Palace," as it is the official residence and political hub of the President of the Republic of Korea. The first thing you see upon arriving at the Blue House is the blue tiles of the main building. The main building of the Blue House is backed by Bukhansan Mountain, and the blue tiles complement the curved roofline, making it very beautiful.
❤ Recommended Reason: The green lawns and endless flower gardens here are great for strolling and also where presidents plant commemorative trees. The most famous is a pine tree with a history of about 300 years. The endless flower garden is a great spot for tourists to take photos, especially during the blooming season from July to October, which is even more colorful. In addition, there are many items on display in the annex that were gifts from foreign friends to the president. Visiting here is free, and you can also buy souvenirs of the Blue House at the souvenir counter. Moreover, do not forget to visit Chilgung, which consists of seven palaces from the Joseon era with traditional styles and elegant courtyards.
👍 Most Recommended: Spring and Autumn Hall, Green Garden, Jingwu Squad
📍 Address: Hyoja-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul Special City, South Korea (1 Cheongwadae-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul Special City, South Korea)
🕙 Business Hours: Open all year from 7:00 to 19:00, free admission, reserve 2 hours for a visit
🚉 Transportation Strategy: Take Subway Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station, exit from Exit 4, and walk for about 10 minutes
⏳ Historical Evolution: The Blue House is located in Seoul, South Korea, and the buildings in this place are not just the Blue House. Throughout Korean history, many buildings have appeared here, and the Blue House is just a part of them. Originally, this was a detached palace of the Goryeo Dynasty. Later, other buildings appeared here, and the Blue House has only been around in recent years. Let's take a look at what buildings have been established in the Blue House area and what kind of history they have. Why can it be said to encompass half of Korean history? In 1104, the Goryeo Dynasty built a detached palace in the area of today's Blue House. The so-called detached palace is simply the palace where the emperor stayed after leaving the main palace, a temporary residence for the emperor. At that time, the Goryeo kings often stayed here, and it was of great significance to the Goryeo royal family. However, this was only a temporary residence for the Goryeo kings and not the political center of Goryeo. Its influence was not particularly significant. This place became a political center during the Joseon Dynasty, which is what we refer to as the Joseon Dynasty. In 1392, Lee Seong-gye overthrew the Goryeo Dynasty and established a new regime, which was the Joseon Dynasty. In 1395, Lee Seong-gye began to build his own palace, and the area of today's Blue House was where his Gyeongbokgung Palace was built. The name "Blue House" is closely related to Gyeongbokgung Palace at that time, which I will explain later. After establishing the Joseon Dynasty, Lee Seong-gye sent envoys to the Ming Dynasty to pay homage to the Ming emperor. Eventually, the Ming Taizu granted the name "Joseon" to this place, and Joseon became a vassal state of the Ming Dynasty. The Joseon monarch was not only the ruler of Joseon but also a minister of the Ming Dynasty, equivalent to the rank of a prince. For this reason, when the Joseon kings built their palaces, they were constructed according to the standards of Ming princes. All buildings were painted in vermilion to distinguish them from the yellow used exclusively by the royal family of our country. After the establishment of Gyeongbokgung Palace, this place became the residence and office of the Joseon monarch, thus becoming the political center of Joseon.
📝tips: In autumn, the fallen leaves add a romantic touch. On the other side, there are modern art galleries such as Geumho and famous coffee shops with rich aromas. To appreciate the night scenery, the best place is the restaurants here. The interior decoration of the restaurants is very modern, including a glass wall that allows a clear view of the stone walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the beautiful sky. Going from here, before reaching the Blue House, there is Samcheong-dong Park, which has many famous restaurants, Korean food restaurants, and art galleries. There is also a small shop specializing in sujebi soup, which is the most famous snack here. Past this, at the end of the road is Samcheong Park. There are many trees here, making it very suitable for walking. When visiting the Blue House, be sure not to forget to take a stroll on this path. The environment is beautiful and is the most characteristic place in Korea.

Seoul, South Korea② | The Presidential Residence Cheong Wa Dae and Gyeongbokgung Palace
🎡🎡🎡 Main Features: Korean Drama Scenes, Presidential Residence, Review of the History of the Joseon Dynasty (Gyeongbokgung Palace)
🔝 During the Spring Festival of 2015 when we visited, Cheong Wa Dae was still the presidential residence of South Korea, so it was not completely open to the public but only partially.
Cheong Wa Dae, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the National Folk Museum of Korea should be considered as one scenic area, and it takes a morning to visit the whole place.
After the Spring Festival of 2022, the current presidential residence has been relocated, and the main building of Cheong Wa Dae and the interior of the presidential residence are now open for public visits. Time flies, it's been 8 years already, OMG.
Cheong Wa Dae is located in Hyoja-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul Special City, South Korea. It was once a detached palace of the Goryeo Dynasty, and in 1426, after the Joseon Dynasty established its capital in Hanyang (now Seoul), it was used as the rear garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Buildings such as Longwu Hall, Qingnongzhai, and a martial arts training ground were constructed, and a piece of land for the king's personal farming was also opened.
Cheong Wa Dae was newly built during the presidency of Roh Tae-woo. The main building of Cheong Wa Dae once served as the presidential residence of South Korea. It housed the president's office, reception hall, conference room, living quarters, and the annex building included the secretariat, security room, and guesthouse.
📺 The filming location of the Korean drama 'Rooftop Prince', which is why it left a deep impression. If the weather is good, the photos are very beautiful, with Seoul's blue skies☁️. Being close to the sea is great; pollution and such are blown away quickly, unlike our Chengdu's big basin.

The Blue House, Gyeongbokgung Palace, the past and present of South Korea!
Visiting South Korea, the Blue House is a must-see!
Today, my journey in South Korea with my friend Xiao Wu is becoming more delightful. As we step into Seoul, it feels like traveling through time, caught between ancient palaces and the modern political center. Seoul is a city where history and modernity coexist, and it is also an important inheritor of Eastern culture.
In the early morning, passing through the bustling streets, we arrive at Gyeongbokgung Palace. This is undoubtedly a solemn and simple palace, as if narrating the long history of Korea. Walking among the green bricks and tiles, one feels refreshed and delighted. The royal architecture's splendor seems to sketch the most wonderful patterns, where history twists and turns vividly, allowing us to experience the spread and profound heritage of ancient Eastern civilization.
With the afternoon breeze on our faces, we visit the Blue House. This is the center of power in South Korea, bearing the weight and direction of the nation. Although the power center's office has moved elsewhere and become an exhibition hall, being here feels like sensing the pulse of politics. Under this area of green bricks and blue tiles, the future direction of Korea was once established. No matter how things change, every decision made here was once part of the nation's actions. Behind this Blue House lies the expectations and hopes of countless Korean people, as well as their longing for peace.
With a myriad of thoughts, leaning against the wall, we overlook the royal mountain and the urban forest in the distance. At this moment, it feels like we have traveled through a thousand years, witnessing the blend of the ancient and the modern. Xiao Wu sincerely marvels at the 'Korean Imperial Palace' and the uniqueness of this great Eastern country, while I guide him more—to appreciate the culture and civilization here, not to simply compare, but to view everything with an open, inclusive, and appreciative eye during our travels. For these are all witnesses to Korea's history. Here lies the source of Korean cultural and political heritage and the starting point for showing a new chapter to the world.
Strolling between the past and present of Seoul, we witness the city's continuous forward strides. Here, history and the future intertwine, with palaces and the political center complementing each other. In this brief article, the Blue House, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Donggung Palace, Gyeonghuigung Palace, and the Jongmyo Shrine, among others, have given us a preliminary understanding of the past and present of the Joseon Dynasty, and also let us perceive the unique charm of the city of Seoul.

Korea Travel/Cheong Wa Dae Tour Guide
One of today's chartered itinerary: Cheong Wa Dae
The driver-guide has already made a reservation for tourists on the official platform in advance, just show the reservation QR code at the entrance and you can go in!
Cheong Wa Dae consists of the main building located in the center, the guesthouse, the green garden, the Infinity Flower Garden, and the Seven Palaces. All buildings are constructed in the traditional Korean architectural style, and they look very beautiful.
The blue tiles of the main building and the curved design of the roof are the most representative features of Cheong Wa Dae, which has a total of 150,000 sound tiles, each of which can be used for over 100 years. Some also call Cheong Wa Dae the 'Blue House'; it is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Korea and the political center. The main building of Cheong Wa Dae is backed by Bukhansan Mountain, and the blue tiles and the curved roof complement each other, which is very beautiful.
The green grassland and the Infinity Flower Garden here are great places for walking, and also where presidents throughout the ages have planted commemorative trees, among which the most famous is a pine tree with a history of about 300 years. In addition, be sure not to forget to visit the Seven Palaces, which are seven traditional-style palaces of the Joseon era and their elegant courtyards.
The winding paths of Cheong Wa Dae add a bit of beauty to the whole area. This path extends from Gyeongbokgung Palace all the way to Cheong Wa Dae, with the stone wall of Gyeongbokgung Palace on the left side of the path and art galleries and high-rise buildings on the right. The path on the side of Gyeongbokgung Palace is lined with stone walls and towering ancient trees, making it indeed a great place for a walk.
