Hamoa Beach is about a five to ten minute drive from the town of Hana. The drive is easy to make, with lots of great scenery along the way. There isn’t a parking lot, so you’ll need to park on the side of the road and walk down the steps to the beach. You can also hike here. I wont recommend swimming here as the waves can be rough. The beach offers some breathtaking views. Its unique which makes it a must visit in Maui. I have never seen anything like it.

#beachtime The beach at the end of the halfway of Hana's road is smaller than expected. The color is very pure black. The waves are very big and the water is very blue. Although the area is not large, it is also beautiful. We also climbed along the stones on the side to a high place and saw the big waves slapping up from the cracks. It was so shocking. lalso got my favorite photos from a high place. The beach is in Wai'anapanapa State Park. You need to book tickets + parking on the official website in advance. Choose a good time and be careful not to be late. Another famous black beach in Hawaii is Punalu'u BlackSand Beach on the big island. The transportation on the big island is more convenient, and the beach area is larger and there are many palm trees; in Maui, hundreds of curved mountain roads are needed.
