I think this is a must-visit museum in Hawaii, but no one goes, remember Bishop!
Bishop Museum, founded by Charles Reed Bishop in 1889, was built to commemorate his late wife, the last descendant of the Kamehameha royal family, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop. The museum houses a large collection of Hawaiian items and the princess's royal heirlooms, and has now expanded to include millions of items, documents, and photos.
In fact, today's Bishop Museum is the largest museum in Hawaii and a leading natural and cultural history institution in the Pacific region. Visiting here, you will gain a wealth of island cultural knowledge, and it also has one of the largest natural history specimen collections in the world, a whale skeleton!
This museum is simply a hidden treasure, one of the few places on Oahu that is suitable for both adults and children to visit, with a history hall, science center, planetarium, and outdoor exhibits. I also like all the galleries, where I learned a lot while having fun. Don't think this is a small place, there is a lot to see, at least I like it very much!
It would be great if there were Chinese explanations here!
