The best part of staying at a ryokan is the food. The breakfast was very extravagant. There were so many side dishes with the rice that I had to have seconds many times. I stayed at Kagetsu, a famous inn in Yamanashi. I was picked up at Isawa Onsen and arrived at the inn. I was greeted by the proprietress dressed in kimono and shown to my room.
