We were celebrating our Anniversary over the weekend which coincided with the baby turtles’ grand release back to their ocean home! We were incredibly lucky to be part of that experience! Staff went out of their way to make the double celebration memorable, with birthday cakes on both days for both birthday boys. Staff sang birthday song when we were having breakfast, and again at night after cleaning and decorating our room. Surroundings was awesome. Woke up to the sounds of nature both mornings, with a stunning sunrise! Best of both worlds with forest as well as sea view from the Villa. It was an awesome and relaxing vacation!

The Rainforest Seaview Villa provided breathtaking views, with the serene sounds of nature and the gentle sea breeze enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of with warmth and attentiveness. We felt well-pampered and appreciated their efforts to make our stay special. However, while the experience was magical, it’s worth noting that the transportation and food prices were on the higher side, which can add up quickly. That said, if you're looking for a luxurious escape in nature, Banyan Tree Bintan is worth it for the stunning location and peaceful ambiance!

Our first trip to Bintan (supposed to go in 2020 but cancelled due pandemic) didn’t disappoint despite hearing it’s a bit expensive and not much shopping to do. The food was good although they often ran out of equipment during breakfast. The BBQ dinner on the beach on a moonlit night was the highlight. Plus points include big room with kitchenette facilities, complimentary wifi throughout the complex, friendly staff plus nice view of South China Sea to calm stressful nerves 😜. The hotel also arranged free activities like turtle hatching & bird watching.
