New Taipei City Christmasland has always been one of the highlights of the Christmas season in northern Taiwan. This year, with the theme of "Magic City", a new 8-story LED castle has been built as the main stage, making it like walking into a fairy tale world of light and shadow. The main light of the Civic Square is designed as a giant magic angel. Although I really don’t understand this main light XD, the surrounding installations are really cute and great for photographing! Christmasland is divided into four major exhibition areas: Magic City (Citizen Square), Magic Manor (Station Square), Magic Cinema (Wanping Park), and Magic Fairy Tale Kingdom (Fuzhong Square). My favorite among them is #MagicIceCrystal, which makes you feel like you have arrived at Elsa’s ice crystal winter palace, and the dreamlike installation of #InvincibleLuckyStar, which is so beautiful that I kept taking pictures. The light corridors between the buildings also have their own characteristics, especially the happy train in the magic manor, which is so romantic with the effect of dry ice bubbles. For parents with children, Christmasland also has many amusement facilities for children to have fun. Most of the facilities are open until 10 pm, so it is very suitable to bring the whole family to play!
