The Artistic Community
Baan Kang Wat is like an artist village with numerous restaurants, cafes, accommodations, and shops, most of which sell cute handmade items. Each shop offers workshops for those interested in creating their own souvenirs (you need to inquire about workshop details at each shop).
I have participated in two workshops. The first was a ceramic workshop where I made a spoon and a coffee cup. The second was a papier-mâché cat painting workshop. Both were fun and affordable.

House Next to the Temple, Chiang Mai.
The House Next to the Temple is a very famous cafe in Chiang Mai. In the morning, I stopped by for breakfast in this area, and since the House Next to the Temple was on the way, I decided to give it a try. Inside, it's like a market with clearly defined zones. There are quite a lot of people strolling around. Those who like workshops would probably enjoy it because there are so many activities to do, such as t-shirt painting, color painting, various art works, glass making, earring making, bracelet making, glass painting. There are many more activities as I walked through, it was really a lot. And next to the House Next to the Temple, there is a sincere market with many handmade items that they have crafted themselves for sale.
