It’s a mix of vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, and rich culture. I stayed near Patong Beach, where the energy was electric, especially on Bangla Road at night. The markets, street food, and live music created a fun, carefree atmosphere. During the day, I explored quieter beaches like Kata and Nai Harn, where the water was crystal-clear and perfect for swimming. I also took a day trip to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, which gave me a peaceful glimpse into Thai spirituality. Next, I took a ferry to Koh Phi Phi—one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The island is smaller and more laid-back than Phuket but incredibly scenic. Towering limestone cliffs, turquoise water, and white sand beaches made it feel like a dream. I hiked to the famous viewpoint overlooking the twin bays, and the sunset from there was breathtaking.
