Bangkokian Museum (Bangkok folk museum) located in the heart of Bangrak District of the old commercial area of Bangkok. The whole place consists of 3 buildings. One is the main house, the second was used as a doctor's office, by the father of the past owner and the third one turned into a kitchen. The volunteers at the museum were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Some of them spoke English fluently. If you come around the area, it's worth sparing one hour or so to explore the place. A long time ago, an ordinary (middle class) house in Bangkok was opened as a museum. It was a new experience. Maybe because it is not well known, we were the only visitors. It is free to enter, and the owner keeps taking pictures of us. If you have the right route, it would be good to visit once. It took about 30 minutes. Closed on Tuesdays, open until 4pm.
