[2025 Cairns Restaurant] Travel Guide for Bang & Grind, The Esplanade (Updated Mar)

Cafes I went to in Cairns☕️🍰 ①bang and grind I arrived at 4:30am on the first day, so I went for breakfast!! Acai bowls in cute heart-shaped containers❤️ It was the best thing I ate in Cairns! The drink was a flat white, which is common in Australia! It's a latte with even more milk than a cafe latte, and since I have a sweet tooth, I drank a flat white every day😊 ②muddy’s A cafe I found while walking along the Esplanade! Most cafes in Australia close at around 2pm, but this one was open until late at night! I had been walking for almost an hour from Cairns Central and was thirsty, so I ordered fresh passion fruit, orange, and mango juice!! There was fruit stuck in the straw🍹🍊 ③mooz A gelato shop near the ferry terminal🍨 They gave us samples of flavors we were interested in, and we chose hazelnut and strawberry gelato! They even showed us a cookie with the shop's logo♪ ④ waffle on The waffle shop I was looking forward to! This place also closes early, so I got up early and had breakfast! I ordered a waffle with bananas and strawberries on top and Nutella sauce! It was crispy and fluffy and delicious❤️ It seems to be a popular shop, but I went around 9:30 and was able to sit down without waiting! ④ Helga's pancake house It was the day I returned home, but I had a little time in the morning because my flight was at 11, so I decided to just go for breakfast! I shared strawberry pancakes and salmon pancakes! You can choose pancakes, waffles, or toast! This is a very good place to get breakfast or brunch. I ate here 5 days in a row. Being put up at the Hotel nearby and this being a more sensibly priced place, I am glad to have chosen it everytime. It's a nice little Cafe on Spence Street in the heart of Cairns. Open for breakfast and lunch. I love that you get to have anything on the menu at anytime and not just specific hours. The quality of their food was very good. The portions mostly huge and filling. Especially theirtheir big breakfast which was not onlt delicious but kept me going till the evening. Very friendly staff and very good coffee. Most importantly, they do a good cup as well. #australiatrip #cairns #localcafes #brekkie

#australiatrip Awesome little Cafe on Spence Street in the heart of Cairns. Open for breakfast and lunch, same menu so breakfast available at lunch time too. I was staying around the corner at Pullman International Hotel just 2 minutes walk away. Had breakfast a few times, toast, yoghurt cup and their big breakfast which was delicious. Very friendly staff and very good coffee. They got 2 blends of coffee, smooth or strong. Yum
