Banana Beach – laid-back beach with a somewhat remote location in northwest Phuket. Visitors must walk down a steep hill to reach the beach. The road behind the beach is about 70 meters (77 yd.) away. There is a beach bar that is sometimes closed during the day, and when it is open some people complain that the prices are high. A huge positive is that very few people are usually here at this beach – it’s never crowded. Some people call this the most beautiful beach on the island of Phuket.

Our tour guide Kong was fantastic, he took me around to the different photo spots and took plenty of great photos. Much appreciated because I was travelling solo. He also helped me while snorkeling, guiding me to the location with the highest number of tropical fish. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Banana Beach, a secret beach with beautiful sea in Phuket A small beach where there are not many people. In the afternoon, it is very chill. Take a boat from Rawai Pier to Banana Beach on Coral Island (Koh hay). It is definitely worth spending an afternoon here to relax and bask in the sun. The white sand beach here will make you reluctant to leave. You can also bring your snorkeling equipment, the coral ecology is very beautiful.
