The city of Shenzhen is a green city. This city will not run out of parks. And one of the newest addition to its collection, is the Baishilong Music park that is situated in Longhua district. This is a medium sized park covering a 116,000 square meters and elevated. Yes you will a have pretty good view of the mountains surrounding it special when you hike up the 116 steps to the observatory deck. I am a musician myself. And hearing that there is a music-themed park here in Shenzhen excites me. So i went forth. Baishilong Music park is the first of its kind in the city. Located in the the sub-district of Minzhi in Longhua (about 25mins taxi ride from CBD in Futian), this park garnered attention from the lical and foreign tourists in the city quick. The park plays continues tunes and melodies, songs from the past, from opera, from the hidden speakers scattered around the park. Across the road from the park is the villa area of Le Mont Water Pavilion Hill, with sloping grass and European-style buildings as the background, giving a European vibe. Therefore, many bloggers call it the "Shenzhen version of Little Switzerland." 🙈I personally think it's a bit overrated. The bloggers' photo spots are limited to one area, and I saw many people taking photos in that one spot for at least two hours, which I don't quite understand. 👀However, the area is relatively high, and lying on the sloping grass to watch the sunset is truly amazing! There is also a viewing platform nearby with a great view! 📝Tips: ✔️The park is not large, but the environment is nice, with a large lawn suitable for camping and picnics. The sloping grass is also great for grass sliding (there are vendors selling grass sliding mats at the entrance), making it a perfect place for kids. ✔️The popular Little Switzerland photo spot is on the sloping grass near the outer road. After entering the park, you will see a small red bridge nearby. The slope of the grass is a bit steep, so be careful not to fall. ✔️Morning is better for photos, as the afternoon light is a bit backlit. When the sun is about to set, the sunset and the villa area in the background make for a beautiful photo. ✔️There are many vendors at the park entrance, especially after 5:00 pm, stretching for about a kilometer, offering a variety of food and drinks. ✔️The park is also crowded at night, with bands sometimes performing there.
