Cloudy with with chance of fun ✨️
#xiamen was an impromptu trip I took during the #yearofrabbit CNY weekend. It definitely didn't go as planned as the weather was very cloudy and rainy but I still made the best of it. A lot of recommendations were closed during the holiday weekend but I still enjoyed my time visiting the places I did. I highly recommend #zhongshan Pedestrian Street, it's great for strolling and finding some great streetfood and cool stores. Also, I recommend the Helium Air Balloon ride on Xiada Baicheng beach. Overall a good trip!

beach day in xiamen woow!
its quite a peaceful place with not so many people if you are a water lover xiamen is very tidy , the water is so clear and there are quite some activities too along the beach . its perfect for walks if its not too hot and the views are great as you will be facing the gulangyu island and on some other parts you can even see some small islands too. i have been to other beaches too but i found this more relaxing and peaceful though its not advised to take walks when the sun is all out however pictures will be great when there is that little sunshine #bucketlistreboot#staycation #gooutside #beachlife #urbanexplorer #givethanks #

Baicheng Beach you can have fun in there and laughed with the locals and you can have fun with their antics, they have a small tent that for the cost of 10 RMB you can take a bath and wash off the salty water but you come out in the end bathing in sweat so I think it's a good deal for them 😝. On the other hand, they have a Cafeteria called SeaU where the treatment is very eloquent and they make you feel welcome. SeaU address 环岛南路256-1号#xiamen ,#xiamenattraction,# beach

As well as offering soft sand and sparkling sea, this beach is one of best places to view Xiamen's Shimao Straits Towers. No wonder then that students, locals, and tourists alike come here to walk, swim, and enjoy the sunset. The beach may not be big, but its location makes it well-suited for watching distant cruise liners and steamships pass by.
Oneonexie.

A Belt Around Beautiful Xiamen Island: Top Choice for Cyclists
#outdooradventures
Xiamen-Huangdao Road (or known as the Xiamen Island Ring Road) is a famous sightseeing road located in the southeast of Xiamen Island. Along the way, you can admire the unsurpassed beauty of the coastline and Xiamen Island. This road winds along the coast for 31 kilometers and has a width of 44 to 60 meters. The road starts from Xiamen University, leads to Xiamen International Exhibition Center and finally leads to Xiamen International Airport. The 9-kilometer coastline between Xiamen University and Qianpu, known as the "golden coastline", is a green coastal corridor combining tourism, attractions and entertainment. There is even a view of Kinmen Island from here.
Driving or cycling along the road offers not only stunning views of the sea, but also mountains, historical sites, local villages, suspension bridges, and even cyclists will be fascinated by the sound of gentle waves crashing on the sandy seashore, and will also be able to admire exotic flowers and palm trees along the road. Huangdao Road is the best place for cycling along well-cleaned beaches and seaside landscapes. In addition, Xiamen Huangdao Road is the main route of the Xiamen International Marathon. This track is considered the most beautiful in the world for marathon racing.
Recommended cycling routes:
Option A
Xiamen University - Hooligan Cannon Fortress - Zeng Kuban Village - Calligraphy and Music Square - Huang Cao Beach - Efengzhai Amusement Park - Xiamen International Exhibition Center
It takes about two hours of leisurely cycling from Baicheng Beach near Xiamen University to Xiamen International Exhibition Center. Avid cyclists can also take a longer route leading to the end of the coastal road at the Wuyuanwan Bridge. There are shops along the way where you can stop for a snack. To take a break, get off your bike to feel the sand on the beach or swim.
Option B
Baicheng Beach near Xiamen University - South Huangdao Road - East Huangdao Road - Bridge over Wuyuan Bay - North Beach of Wuyuan Bay

My sisters have organized some Xiamen travel tips, hoping to help everyone
1. If you're going to Gulangyu, make sure to arrive at the ferry terminal at least 50 minutes in advance. Don't be late! The ferry tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable, and they expire after the scheduled ferry time. Don't buy things on Gulangyu, as they are expensive on the island.
2. Watch the sunrise at Huangcuo and the sunset at Baicheng Beach. Don't mix them up!
Yefengzhai Beach has fewer people and is recommended for checking in.
3. It's really hard to encounter dolphins at the Kinmen Dolphin Base, so if you're short on time, you can pass on it.
4. Zengcuo'an is not worth visiting, as it's very commercialized. Better to avoid it.
5. You must check out the beautiful Line 1, it's definitely worth it! Go directly to Jimei School Village for a walk.

Baicheng Beach: Encountering the Most Beautiful Coastal Moments
Baicheng Beach, this land gently kissed by time, feels like listening to the melody interwoven by the waves and the years with every step. This is not just a beach, but also a memory about youth, dreams, and romance.
Walking on the fine sand, feeling the temperature of each grain underfoot, it seems like hearing their stories told over thousands of years. The sunlight filters through the clouds, sprinkling over the sea, glittering like countless diamonds. In the distance, Baicheng stands quietly, like a guardian, protecting the tranquility and beauty of this beach.
Children frolic on the beach, their laughter rising and falling, their happiness so simple and pure. Couples walk hand in hand along the shore, enjoying their sweet moments together. The elderly sit on the beach, quietly gazing at the sea, as if reminiscing about the past.
Baicheng Beach is not only beautiful in scenery but also rich in cultural connotations. It has witnessed the growth and changes of countless people and has left many precious historical relics. Every visit here is a feeling of a profound cultural heritage that touches one's heart.
In the evening, the setting sun casts its glow on the beach, the golden light reflecting off the blue water, breathtakingly beautiful. Sitting on the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, watching the afterglow of the sunset, it seems possible to forget all worries and immerse oneself in this beautiful scene.
Baicheng Beach is a mesmerizing place. It boasts not only beautiful natural scenery but also a deep cultural heritage and humanistic sentiment. If you haven't been here yet, why not take some time to experience the charm of this beach!

Solo Trip to Xiamen (Complete Guide Included)
Accommodation🏠:
Xiamen Weike Youth Hostel (Zhongshan Road Store)
116💰/3 nights
3.18 Day One Weather☁️
1⃣️South Putuo Temple (reservation required)
2⃣️Shapowei
Close to South Putuo Temple, so I came to have a look. This area is mainly known for its night market, so it's not very lively during the day, but it's good for taking pictures (recommend the rooftop of the Art West District).
I finished browsing just in time for 🌟Weilin Dessert to open at 12:30. I added lotus root, taro, white glutinous rice, and adzuki beans, with a free silver ear mushroom soup as the base, totaling 15💰. The lotus root and taro are marinated in brown sugar, highly recommended!
3⃣️Botanical Garden (student ticket 15💰)
Entered from the south gate, took the sightseeing elevator, and walked to the ticket office to buy a one-way ticket for 5💰.
A one-way ticket means you can only take it once, but it's enough for those who only want to visit the succulent and rainforest areas. After visiting, exit from the west gate, the total walking distance is less than 1km, and if the weather is good, you can also take the Zhonggu Cableway.
4⃣️Baicheng Beach
No sunset on a cloudy day, but it's healing to watch the waves and feel the sea breeze by the beach! I also made good friends here🥹.
5⃣️SM City Plaza
Went to eat with the couple I met at Baicheng Beach.
6⃣️Ten Mile Long Embankment
After eating, we drove to the Ten Mile Long Embankment, but it was too late, and it was a weekday, so there were few people!
3.19 Day Two Weather☀️
1⃣️Gulangyu Island
Bought the ferry ticket on the Xiao🍊 app 'Meet Xiamen', round trip 35💰, make sure to choose a sunny day.
📝On the ferry, a staff member said: Each tourist takes a different path, sees different scenery, and the travel experience is different.
Besides some photo spots, I think there's no need to follow a specific route, just wander around and you might see some unexpected beautiful views🤓.
✅Ruanji Satay Noodles (if you plan to eat this, you can get off at Neicuo'ao Pier, which is very close).
The cheapest is 15💰, the most expensive is 45💰, it's up to you, and the taste is very good!
✅Photo spots
Recommend 📍Dadeji Bathing Beach
Opposite are Xiamen's landmark buildings, the World Trade Twin Towers and Yanwu Bridge, great for photos📷.
2⃣️Yefengzhai
Came here for the swing photos, located at 📍OFF WORK by the sea.
3⃣️Baicheng Beach
A busier beach than Yefengzhai, a good place to watch the sunset🌄.
4⃣️Market Eight
✅A Jie Five-Spice
4💰/piece, you can buy one to try, the taste is okay but a bit greasy after too much.
✅A Long Satay Pork Loin
10💰/3 skewers, tastes good, the pork loin is tender.
3.20 Day Three Weather🌤️
1⃣️Huangcuo Beach Sunrise
The sunrise time predicted by the iPhone's built-in weather app is quite accurate, no need to come too early, it's windy in the morning, remember to bring a thick coat!
2⃣️Li Juying Burnt Tofu (Gugong Road Store)
✅Double Taro Tofu Curd
This is super delicious!
✅Brown Sugar Burnt Tofu
Compared to the Double Taro Tofu Curd, this one is quite ordinary.
✅Taro Bun
Recommended, the outside is sticky, and the inside is filled with meat.

Xiamen Super Practical Guide, recommended for friends visiting Xiamen in March!|
|.
Xiamen Super Practical Guide, recommended for friends visiting Xiamen in March!||||||This is my second visit to Xiamen, and the most important thing comes first: you must choose a sunny day when coming to Xiamen! Blue sky, blue sea, good mood!
♦️ One, Transportation and Accommodation
1. If you like to see the sea, it is suggested to book a place near Huangcuo Beach. If you prefer convenient transportation, consider booking near Zhongshan Road. I booked near Huangcuo.
2. Exit Xiamen North Station and directly transfer to Line 1 to see the sea train Spirited Away.
♦️ Two, Itinerary
Day1⃣️
【Route: Nanputuo Temple, Shapowei, Zengcuo'an, Baicheng Beach】
1. Nanputuo Temple⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Scan the code to make a reservation before entering the temple. A serious visit can take two hours, and you can get a free incense stick at the entrance.
2. Shapowei⭐️⭐️⭐️
There are lots of handmade jewelry stalls in the Art West District, very unique, a must-visit for girls, and the graffiti wall is also great for photos.
3. Zengcuo'an⭐️
Too commercialized, even less recommended to eat here, expensive and a rip-off with no substance!
4. Baicheng Beach⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The coast is beautiful, it is recommended to go between 15:00-17:00 in the afternoon, the evening sea breeze is too cold!
(The whole route can be done by citywalk + renting a bike to cycle around the island, it's really comfortable)
Day2⃣️
【Route: Eighth Market, Zhongshan Road, Huaxin Road, Xingfu Road, Huangcuo Beach, Yefengzhai】
1. Eighth Market + Zhongshan Road + Huaxin Road + Xingfu Road⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Eighth Market is a food paradise! Must-try restaurants are mentioned in the food section. Xingfu Road is super photogenic, with Ge You at p9 and the "Xiamen" check-in spot at p8 nearby.
2. Huangcuo Beach⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The most recommended spot! Stunningly beautiful! Any tree you choose to take photos with looks great! Must visit, must visit, must visit!
♦️ Three, Food Section
🟢1. Nanputuo Temple: Mung bean filling vegetarian cake 15 yuan/box⭐️⭐️⭐️
The vegetarian noodles at Haihui Lou❌ are not tasty, it's recommended to eat at the vegetarian buffet store outside the temple.
🟢2. Xuji Old Xiamen Special Satay Noodles (behind Huangcuo)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When in Xiamen, you must try satay noodles. We had satay noodles three times, and the most recommended is Xuji Old Xiamen Special Satay Noodles near Huangcuo, with plenty of ingredients and great taste! Generous with seafood. The satay noodles eaten at Zengcuo'an❌ had not even a single shrimp and still cost 30 yuan.
🟢3. Jiawei Zaitian Snack Shop (Eighth Market)
The prices are reasonable, and their extra-ingredient meat zongzi is highly recommended, really delicious! A friend ordered a taro bun which felt average.
Key point: Be sure to calculate the price of the food you want to eat first, then transfer the money at the cashier, and tell the lady how much food stamps you want, then exchange the stamps for meals at the window! Calculating it yourself first saves more time.
NomadNocturne
Regarding romance, the sea occupies half of it
Xiamen Baicheng Beach
At Baicheng Beach in Xiamen, I experienced the vastness and warmth of the sea. It was a feeling of being passionately embraced by the sun, a memory of being tenderly kissed by the waves. The sea breeze, like a lover's hand, gently caressed every inch of skin, taking away the sweat and leaving behind the salty fragrance of the sea. The taste of the sea is the taste of the sun's heat, as well as the taste of life itself. Here, I am willing to let my soul fly freely in the passionate sea breeze, to let my spirit be purified in the vastness of the sea.

A family trip to Xiamen for a seaside and sand digging amusement park route
-
This week we didn't go hiking! We went to the seaside this week~ The weather got warmer, and taking the kids to dig in the sand by the sea was so much fun!
It's a classic route, also very suitable for babies visiting Xiamen
Walk: Baicheng Beach - The parallel walkway under Yanwu Bridge - Twin Towers (nearby for rest and dining) - Shapowei - Aerospace Universe Mini Park (under the bridge at the intersection of Minzu Road and Chenggong Avenue, near Xiamen Port bus station)
-
·Baicheng Beach is actually not very crowded on weekdays, I prefer to play on the beach near the bridge, where it's shady and closer to the public toilets~
·Walking on the walkway, watching the sea buses, it's an off-the-beaten-path route~ It's recommended to walk here in the afternoon, it's so comfortable, and with some luck, you might see oxygen absorption!
·-Aerospace Universe Mini Park, a themed park is so much fun! And it has some climbing challenges, the kids are so happy playing!
-
For dining, you can find good food near Shapowei, University Road, and Twin Towers~

It is a wise choice to stay near Zhongshan Road. Transportation here is well connected and traveling is very convenient!
📍Big four-day itinerary:
Day 1️⃣: Zengcuo'an - Huandao Road - Baicheng Beach
In the morning, we arrived at Zengcuo'an, a fishing village full of literary and artistic atmosphere, with the blue sea on one side and the fireworks of the snack street on the other. Arrive at Nanputuo in the afternoon. It is said that the temples here are very efficacious. In the evening, we went to Shapowei and No. 8 Market. This place was once a comic book world, but now it is a lively seafood market, and authentic snacks are also indispensable! 🦞
Day 3️⃣: Huangcuo Beach - Gulangyu Island
Get up early in the morning and go to Huangcuo Beach to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. In the afternoon, set off to Gulangyu Island. The national 5A scenic spot is waiting for you to explore. Finally, we arrived at Jimei Village, where the Dragon Boat Pool, Nanxun Building of Jimei Middle School, Jiageng Park and the Ten Mile Long Causeway are all unforgettable🌉.

A niche seaside park, incredibly beautiful and photogenic, but you must go when the weather is good and the tide is high, remember to check the tide table!!
🔟 Huaxin Road, Shixing Road, Douxi Road
The best places for a city walk in Xiamen! A ten-minute walk from Zhongshan Road is the overseas Chinese villa area, Zhang Wansen's home is here, you must come to see the firecracker flowers at Zhang Wansen's doorstep in March or April!! Many people ask me to recommend a homestay, I often pass by the homestay on Huaxin Road for photos, , an overseas Chinese detached villa with a Gulangyu feel~
Additionally, there are two antique shops on Douxi Road, for Japanese porcelain, for vintage jewelry, with rings, bracelets, earrings, etc., on three floors, it's hard to leave empty-handed!
Xiamen is beautiful, and the sea is very nice, but the weather is really important, if the weather is good, the sea in Xiamen will look very nice, and the Island Ring Road is particularly comfortable! Recently, the weather in Xiamen has been too hot!! Those who want to come to Xiamen, please consider carefully, it's crowded and hot!
Xiamen's best tourist season is from November to April of the following year, the weather is the most suitable!! In the summer of Xiamen, only Zheng Chenggong is standing outside!!!
Friendly reminder! When you come to Xiamen, remember not to trust the uncles and aunties on the roadside as well as taxi drivers and such!! Many of them will overcharge.

1️⃣Ring Island Road
The entire route is a beautiful seascape, you can drive yourself, or take the No. 29 bus. Pay attention to the traffic situation in advance if you ride a bicycle or rent an electric car.
2️⃣ Baicheng Beach
A great place to see the sea in Xiamen! You can see the Twin Towers, there are fewer people, blowing the sea breeze, watching the sunset, enjoying the romantic and free atmosphere.
3️⃣ Gulangyu
A must-visit spot when you come to Xiamen, you need to book the ferry ticket in advance on the 'Yu Jian Xiamen' mini program, a 35 yuan ticket is enough, it includes round trip. Choose Sanqiu Tian Pier as the arrival place first, it's closer to the attractions. You can try 'Xiao Min Satay Noodles', it's affordable and tastes good!
4️⃣ Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street
Take the boat back from Gulangyu directly to Zhongshan Road to eat some special delicacies, the frozen top and four-fruit soup are very good! It's very lively here at night, you can take some photos and then find a restaurant to eat seafood. Try the special ginger duck, oyster fried rice, etc., fresh and delicious!
5️⃣ Nanputuo Temple
Nanputuo Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty, similar to Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang, it worships Guanyin Bodhisattva, and is the most famous temple in southern Fujian. 7️⃣ Xiamen Botanical Garden
The rainforest area and succulent plant area are two popular garden areas, the photos are absolutely beautiful, don't miss the time when the rainforest area sprays mist. But there are more people in these two places, other places like the camellia garden, pine and cypress garden are actually quite good, but they are more suitable for locals to stay in for a day, if you don't have enough time, you don't have to check in.
8️⃣ Zengcuoan
There are many complex food streets, you can experience hairpin flowers without going to Quanzhou, there are many shops where you can choose more clothes, if you have requirements for photos, it is recommended to make an appointment with a photographer in advance, there are many accompanying photographers in Xiamen who are actually very nice, if you don't like the same photography style, you can try it. The oysters here are big and fat, and the price is very cheap, recommend 'Yi Ge High Pressure Pot Oysters'.

Jimei School Village is across the sea from Xiamen Island and is known as 'China's Most Beautiful School Village'. Oyster omelette, pork loin, Huiyuan fried bread, Zhong Lijun full pancake, Rongmei ginger duck, dried vegetable cake and coated tofu on Shigu Road... Try one, since you are here, just taste it haha~
The souffle at Shapowei, Q bomb soft and fluffy, the taste is like a cloud. Must go to eat!
The Musang King durian on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is fragrant and soft.
A friend tried durian for the first time and fell in love with it! She also sincerely sighed that the taste was not as "smelly" as she imagined, and it was surprisingly delicious~
The freshly peeled coconut egg, I have been thinking about it for a long time! I always feel that the white coconut meat outside will be delicious, but in fact, after eating two or three bites, I start to feel greasy, and I feel like chewing raw coconut oil haha.
I don't know when I will go next time.
Leave a thought first~

Always believe in the orange sea sunset in Xiamen! | Baicheng Beach
When you come to Xiamen, you must watch a sunset!
At the end of 2022, I was attacked by Omicron until I was extremely tired. After lying at home for a week, I started to feel emo endlessly, and I felt that I should take advantage of my health and go to meet those distant places I want to reach in my dreams! Xiamen is the first target south of Shanghai, where there are mountains, sea and islands, blue and orange coconut breeze, and 20 degrees Celsius in winter! When the evening wind brushed my face, the blue sky turned into orange and red, and when the coconut trees gradually darkened into silhouettes in the lens, I knew that a romantic sunset was about to begin!
Xiamen is an island, from north to south clockwise, there are many beaches. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so I think the better sunset viewing place should be selected to the west.
From north to south clockwise in order
Guanyin Mountain
Metro Line 2 "Guanyin Mountain Station" Guanyin Mountain is in the east of Xiamen Island, and the location is relatively unpopular
Here is suitable for watching the sunrise, the newly popular two-dimensional late-night bar is also here. Next to the beach is Guanyin Mountain Park, the Ferris wheel and graffiti wall are also great for taking pictures!

Located on Xiamen's Huandao Road, Baicheng Beach is the most leisurely beach in downtown Xiamen. It is just in front of the campus of Xiamen University, next to the Hushanli Fort and other scenic spots. The location is very advantageous. The climate in Xiamen is very pleasant. Even in winter, it is warm and warm. Although it can't be launched, it is very comfortable to walk on the beach. There are also a lot of tourists here. There is also a seaside board next to the beach. It is also very popular with everyone. It is the most comfortable time to blow the sea breeze. This is the most pleasant time. I really want to live in Xiamen and enjoy this beautiful place. In the evening, watching the sunset here is also a very good choice. The Twin Towers and Yanwu Bridge under the night are also quite gorgeous night scenes. Fall in love with Xiamen, just in this leisure time~

Xiamen University Baicheng is located in Huandao South Road, and the Baicheng School Gate in the east of Xiamen University has arrived. Baicheng Beach is very long, beautiful environment, convenient transportation and fresh air. Local citizens and travelers from all over the world like to stroll around here. I came here to especially envy the students of Xiamen University. After class, I walked around here, blowing the sea breeze, relaxing and relaxing, and relieving the stress of intense learning. It was so happy and romantic!

Located at the foot of Baicheng City in the south of Xiamen University, Baicheng Beach is a beautiful beach between the Yanwu Bridge and the Hulishan Fort. Not only is Xiamen University, but more Xiamen citizens and tourists like to walk, play, swim and watch the sunset. It is a natural leisure park. There are many interesting sights in the White City of Xiamen University. The beach is dotted with a huge mouse. The half-ring bridge is like a huge clock. The white city ruins are engraved with various abstract square patterns... blending beautiful scenery with profound cultural history. The bottom is in one.
Hundreds of meters in the Baicheng Bathing Beach, with its beautiful environment and convenient transportation, it has been a good place for old Xiamen people to swim and play in the water for decades.
