B2 Chiang Mai Rimping accommodation, budget price
B2 Hotel is a budget hotel chain that we often stay at. This time, we stayed at B2 Riverside Colonial, located on the banks of the Ping River. It is not far from Kad Luang or Waroros Market, and is near famous restaurants in Chiang Mai. If the weather is not too hot, you can walk for about 10 minutes to the old moat and Thapae Gate to continue your trip.
The rooms are decorated in a cute (modern) colonial style, as the name suggests. I heard that there are rooms with river views from the windows. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioner is cool, and there are slippers, soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer. The staff are very helpful. On the evening of our stay, the water heater did not work, so they changed us to a new room.
There are a few things we would like to improve: the bathroom still has black mold in the grout. The hotel has a small and narrow parking lot, and I think the sitting area by the river is not used very often, so water and dust stains are not cleaned often.
Overall, the quality of the room compared to the price of a few hundred baht per room is quite good. If you are looking for a quality hotel at a budget price like this, I recommend this place.
