[2025 Sumoto Stay] Travel Guide for Awakan (Updated May)

Unpacking Awaji Island Kanko Hotel 🌊🇯🇵 When you come to Awaji Island, choose an accommodation with a sea view! This time I was also attracted by this Japanese tatami room with sea view💙 This hotel is a comprehensive hotel with a large bath, a lounge, a paid entertainment room, an outdoor swimming pool, and fishing activities. The most attractive thing is that you can rent fishing gear for free. If you catch a fish, the hotel can help you prepare sashimi/cook it! Facilities of this size are more suitable for the whole family to play, and you can stay in the hotel all day without going out👍🏻 (As a foreign tourist, I basically had no chance to use other facilities except the large bath) As for food and beverage, my room rate originally only included a buffet breakfast, but after arriving at the hotel, I added a buffet dinner (7,000 yen per person). I personally don't recommend the dinner buffet, there are very few choices and the taste is very ordinary, not worth the price. The breakfast 🍳 surprisingly has a lot of choices and is delicious! (It seems to have more options than dinner!) The overall service is very good. A hotel in Sumoto City, Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. It is located in a corner of Sumoto Onsen. It seems that the name was recently changed from Awajishima Kanko Hotel to "Awakan". It is famous as a hotel targeted at families with children, and has a wide range of activities, mainly fishing. Sea fishing is free, and trout fishing in the pool is paid. In both cases, the fish you catch can be cooked and served for dinner. Since we stayed during the holidays, there was a festival in the lobby and a stamp rally, which the children were delighted with. Meals were served buffet style for both breakfast and dinner, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, mainly made with ingredients from Awaji Island. Dinner on a day trip to Awaji Island! We had a BBQ at Craft Circus!! There were various plans, but this time we went for a seafood BBQ!
