Prepare to have your mind blown by an incredible collection of cars, planes, tanks, and so much more – it's almost too much awesomeness to take in! 🤩 Opened in 1981, this massive museum spans over 50,000 square meters and boasts more than 3,000 exhibits. But let's talk about the real stars of the show: two supersonic passenger jets! We're talking about the Soviet Tupolev Tu-144 and the legendary Concorde, developed jointly by Britain and France. And here's the best part that sets this museum apart: you don't just look at them from afar! You can actually climb stairs and go INSIDE the cabins of both of these iconic aircraft! 🤯 Getting up close and personal with these beauties really highlights the incredible engineering prowess of the Soviet Union and the Anglo-French teams back in the day. It's fascinating to see how many design elements from these vintage marvels are still used in modern Boeing and Airbus planes today! Quick Info for Your Trip: Is it close to Stuttgart? Yes! Sinsheim is located about an hour's drive southeast of Stuttgart, making it a perfect day trip. You can easily get there by car or train. Sinsheim, the countryside of Germany Two huge supersonic passenger planes suddenly appear in the tranquil scenery that you would never imagine from the high accessibility of about an hour's drive from Frankfurt Airport Even if you are driving on the autobahn, a place that will surely catch your eye is the Sinsheim Automobile and Technology Museum Association, the only museum in the world where you can see the Concorde and the Concord Ski at the same time. It is like a calorie bomb in the museum world, where you can see everything from the military zone that displays tanks and guns from the interwar period to the postwar period, to famous cars and aircraft of the past. In Technik Museum Sinsheim, all car lovers and plane lovers will find more than you can expected to see. The gigantic hall displayed a variety different style of cars and planes, which have been maintained in a very professional way. There are a few retired planes which you can board into the cabin, eg., the Concorde! There’s also a 3D-Max theatre where you can watch the film impressively. There’s also a canteen. You definitely need to be there earlier enough to see all the exhibited displayed!
