Australian Museum in Sydney
I was planning to spend two to three hours here but ended up spending the full day in this amazing museum - if you read all the descriptions of the exhibits, you get to learn the entire history of biology of Australia - it’s definitely educational and fun! There are live animals that you are allowed to touch at the interactive booths- did you know that frogs swallow food with their eyeballs! #history #animals #museum

Spend summer in the southern hemisphere with a 10-day family trip to Sydney (Part 4).
A wonderful day at the Australian Museum!
The animal specimens are very detailed and realistic!
The dinosaur and bird exhibits are so amazing that the kids don't want to leave!
We happened to catch the Ramses II exhibition at the Australian Museum, which dates back to the middle of the Shang Dynasty in China.
The content is very compact and exciting. It starts with a video in a small dark room, showing the artifacts and treasures from the tomb of Ramses II, many of which have never left Egypt before.
It's too dark, and the kids got scared halfway through and left, saying they didn't want to go to Egypt.
The museum has a children's exploration area on almost every floor, with a crawling area for babies aged 0-3.
The picture books and science entertainment facilities are free, with lots of creativity and inspiration. It's very kid-friendly!
The only downside is that it closes too early. The staff starts packing up at 3:40 pm, as if they're just waiting to clock out at 4 pm.

Dino-Mite! Australian Museum Experience
#hiddengems
I recently visited the Australian Museum and was impressed by its extensive exhibits and collections. The dinosaur exhibit was a highlight, featuring real skeletons and life-size models. I was fascinated by the fossil teeth, skulls, and claws of prehistoric creatures.
The museum also has a significant collection of Indigenous Australian artifacts and cultural exhibits, which was both moving and informative. The museum strikes a great balance between education and entertainment, with interactive displays and hands-on activities for visitors of all ages. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making it a must-visit destination in Sydney.

My solo trip to the past
Australia museum is a nice and cool place to be if you are interested in the past, especially of Australia, the land down under. Most artifacts are actually discovered on this land and persevere for the next generation to learn. I can feel my curiosity being hype up as I walk through the museum. There were many animals, skeleton, figures, and interting looking weapons. I love how it is not crowded so I can take my time reading about each artifact and mesmerized by the size of T-Rex skeleton.

Tex-o
The Australian Museum is the largest natural history museum in Australia, and the exhibitions inside are even more abundant than I imagined. There are exhibitions on Aboriginal culture, the underwater world, and more. The collection includes various specimens of insects, native birds, reptiles, mammals, and fossils, as well as huge dinosaur skeletons and various reconstruction models. The educational display area for minerals and gems is also very rich. Some exhibitions even have small interactive activities. If you want to visit carefully, one day is not enough.
