It's amazing! A real work of art, engineering and architecture. I've always been amazed by it, but, unfortunately, I never got the chance to visit inside. Indeed a very unique building that was much bigger than I was expecting and visually stunning. Such an amazing building constructed over 70 years ago for the 58th Expo. looking at it just makes me think of the architect who designed this majestic building with all those different dome towers. It is faster by train but the bus was cheaper 😁 although train is definitely more comfortable but we wanted to try the bus ride experience to be able to compare it on what to take on our next vacation 😊 One of the reasons why we wanted to go to Brussels was to see the Atomium which is the most popular landmark in the city! We saw the Atomium at day time but we went there during night and it was more beautiful with all the lights on. The lights gave more life and charms to the object which is the Atomium. #100WaysOfTravel I visited the amazing Brussels in Belgium. It has so much to see! I really loved the Atomium because you could enter inside and go to the top. The architecture of this city is just beautiful and it feels really nice walking there. The potatoes and waffles are so nice and very creative. I really loved Brussels and I would like to come back very soon.

I am so blown away by the sense of design all across belgium. The visit to Atomium was much in line with that emotion. Firstly i am glad i was able to resist the temptation of taking a bus tour and clubbing a whole bunch of things together. That is great for the budget and time. But also it doesn't allow you the luxury of time. This decision came in handy in the case of the Atomium. The structure serves multiple purposes. Firstly it is a stunning sight. A design genius. Secondly it allows for a nice view much on the lines of attractions like Eiffel or even the london eye. Maybe not that high but still you get such a lovely view of mini Europe. And each ball has something different going on. So you ought to take your time and explore them all. Plenty of space and even a shop. A restaurant up there with stunning views. #europetrip An amazing piece of architecture that harkens back to a time where anything felt possible in Europe. Built in the 1950s, The Atomium feels as futuristic now as I imagine it did back then. The queue was roughly an hour, but it was a busy weekend so I guess that is to be expected. Although the queue was large, it never felt busy or packed once we were inside. The restaurant at the top was fantastic, I would recommend a traditional Belgium beer and a traditional Belgian waffle if you don’t want to break the bank too much. The views were spectacular. The light show inside one of the “balls” was phenomenal. A technological marvel only triumphed by the marvel of the “building” itself. The Worlds Fair museum in another of the “balls” was fascinating. Why don’t we have a Worlds Fair anymore?! This is a must for anyone visiting Brussels!

The Belgium concert on November 25th is about to start, anyone interested in joining me to watch the show~~ I'm really good at making strategies hhh Let me share a few attractions around the concert venue: 01 The Atomium in Brussels It hosted the World's Fair and is a landmark building, named the Atomium because of its iron atom structure model. 02 Brussels City Hall A typical ancient Flemish Gothic building, magnificent in design, with a 5m high statue of the guardian Saint Michael on top of the tower. 03 Manneken Pis Probably the most famous little boy in the world, built in the 17th century. Legend has it that when the Spanish occupiers were planning to leave and intended to blow up the entire city with explosives, it was the Manneken Pis who appeared and extinguished the fuse. 04 Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium The museum's collection exceeds 20,000 items, including paintings, installations, and sculptures from the 15th century to the present.

Wow! It's like something out of war of the worlds as you turn a corner and see it standing there! Inside was filled with interesting facts on the atomium and its formation. The photos of it in its youth, and of other structures made for previous conferences across the globe. The different rooms across the structure hold light art exhibitions that either mesmerise you.. baffle you, or wonderfully send you to sleep in a calm serenity. I came out very happy with my visit, and felt I got good value for money. We took the tube from Brussels and it came out about a 5 minute walk from the entrance.
