From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to the Dome. Besides the tram, you can also choose to walk or take a taxi, as the distance is short and suitable for those who enjoy walking. #japantrip One thing very noticeable about Hiroshima is it's vibe. That which is made up of peace and calm. If you're anywhere close to the atomic dome or the whole peace park vicinity. That calm and peace will overtake you. This is a place where my most favourite activity is strolling the peace park and people watching. The lame ass trams help you get around and there are buses too. The food is as good as anywhere else in Japan. People as hospitable and aloof. Hiroshima!!! When we look back to history, Hiroshima was the first military target of a nuclear weapon in human history. On Monday, August 6, 1945, at 8:15 a.m. (Hiroshima time), the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima from an American Army and damaged 70% of Hiroshima and end of the year 160,000 plus people died . I felt so sad when I walk around that area and the weather was not in my side either . So, I went into peace memorial hall and watch documentaries series of the whole history.
