The legendary Atlas Bar, Singapore's top-tier afternoon tea spot! An 8-meter-high liquor cabinet that's super extravagant, even Jay Chou has paid a visit!
Atlas Bar is hidden on the ground floor of Parkview Square. Unlike other bars, it opens from 12:00 noon, allowing non-drinkers to enjoy lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night snacks. Of course, they also serve drinks during the day. The most important thing is to remember to book early, or you might miss out!
The lavish afternoon tea must be reserved in advance and is served per person at SGD 68, about TWD 1,585. It’s not cheap but definitely worth trying 👍 First, an aperitif is served; non-drinkers can choose a non-alcoholic beverage. Then the main event, afternoon tea, is presented on a rose gold two-tier stand, with savory items on the bottom tier and sweets on the top. Both sweet and savory flavors are delicious and never overwhelming 😋
Besides the impressive afternoon tea, the grand high-ceiling space and the 8-meter-tall giant liquor cabinet, combined with various murals, chandeliers, and intricate carvings, showcase the French vintage style of the 1920s. The most eye-catching feature is the 8-meter-high giant liquor cabinet, housing over 1,000 bottles of gin from around the world. Below it, the champagne room holds more than 200 types of champagne, the largest collection in Singapore! Since opening in March 2017, it has been recognized for several years as one of the World’s 50 Best Bars and Asia’s 50 Best Bars.
Such a luxurious and spectacular bar has even been visited by celebrity Jay Chou! After enjoying afternoon tea, be sure to go up to the mezzanine next to the bar for the best panoramic view of the entire venue—perfect for photos and memories.
