I went to Teradomari Fish Market Street (Ameyoko Fish) ☺️🫰 I took the 7am Shinkansen, and booked a hotel at Nagaoka Station, so I went to Nagaoka! I was surprised to arrive at 8:30 ♡ I thought, "Niigata only takes an hour and a half 😲" ♡ From there, I used the Holiday Unlimited Pass to get to Teradomari in about an hour (^^) → Holiday Unlimited Pass: 1200 yen It costs almost 1000 yen one way to Teradomari, so it's overwhelmingly more economical to buy this 🤚❤️ All the food in Teradomari was delicious ❤️ Especially the fatty tuna sushi 🤤! The best way to travel to and from Tokyo on the same day is to take the JR Joetsu Shinkansen. The official website of the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival has announced the return JR timetable (pay special attention to the second table, heading to Tokyo). Considering the time when the fireworks festival ends and the time it takes to walk from the venue to Nagaoka Station, we mainly use the four trains after 21:30. Since there are so many people watching the fireworks display, Shinkansen tickets are in great demand. JR East Shinkansen tickets can be reserved one month in advance, either directly by booking Shinkansen tickets or through a purchased JR pass. 🍜 Aoshima Ramen Experience 🍜 I went to Aoshima Ramen, a hidden gem in Niigata! The first thing that surprised me was the deep flavor of the soup. The scent of the sea, as if the bounty of the ocean was condensed, and the richness of the pork bones that were simmered slowly over time were exquisitely matched, and it was a bowl that made you feel the Niigata climate with every sip. The noodles were straight and thin, and they went perfectly with the soup! The topping of char siu was soft and juicy, and melted in your mouth. The bamboo shoots and green onions were also fresh, with a crunchy texture that added an accent, and I enjoyed it until the last drop without getting bored. The atmosphere inside the store was wonderful, and the warm service warmed my heart. This is a recommended ramen shop that you should definitely stop by if you come to Niigata.
