[2025 Ipoh Stay] Travel Guide for Artworks Hotel Ipoh (Updated Jan)

I got the chance to stay one night at Artworks Hotel, Ipoh. It is a 3-star hotel with affordable price. This hotel situated at a great location. It is near to Gerbang Malam and Pasar Loken (5 min drive). Basically it is not far to go anywhere from this hotel. Grab is also easy to find. The hotel has a lot of parking bays despite it is only 3-star hotel. There's even a guard outside the hotel taking care of your car at night. For the room I love it. I came here cause I had to do my work and all rooms come with desk and chair. Even the wifi was great. Not much of tv channels but not a problem for me. My suggestion is to add more variety to the breakfast choice (delicious but choice are too limited). Also, the hotel has like some kind of smell (macam bau lama). Might want to use some perfume or essential oil to get rid of the smell. I definitely will come back again :) #artworkshotelipoh #ipoh

Artworks Hotel is located in Jalan Industri Paloh 1, Pusat Perniagaan Paloh, Ipoh, Perak. A non busy area where just 5 min driving distance to Ipoh old town. From the exterior to the room, this hotel adopted black as the theme, decorating with colourful paintings creat a unique and fashionable atmosphere. The accommodation is decent, clean and comfortable. Booked on Trip.com RM85 for a Superior Double room is value for money (without breakfast cause i'm here for Ipoh famous foods). Hotel : Artworks Hotel Ipoh Good food : I like the dessert in Fluffy, Old Town Ipoh. 💡 Tips: Soufflé, derived from the French word "souffler," meaning "to blow" or "to puff," takes its name from the past participle of the verb. A friend told me it signifies "fluffing up and rising." There’s a dessert shop in Ipoh's Old Town called Fluffy, which is said to be packed with people during holidays. Many flock there to snap photos and check in on social media because the soufflés are truly exquisite. Once you place your order, the soufflés are freshly baked on-site, taking about 18 minutes to complete. The unique transformation of egg whites results in a beautifully presented dish that is irresistibly delicious.

The room provides so many toiletries and the room air conditioning works great too. But considering the surroundings, the hotel does seem to be far from any restaurant or convenience store so need to get into the car and drives to eat and buy some snacks.

A very spacious room and clean. Comfortable bed and air conditioning is cool. At town area and easier get to town area and attractions place in Ipoh. 5 minutes to Railway Station Ipoh.

The money I paid for the stay worth every single cents. I'm a frequent traveller who understands normal late check out was at latest 1pm, while i happened to be overslept while I stayed here and I could only check out around 2pm. The front desk staff was so understanding and did not charged me on that late check out, and I was really surprised. Despite that they didn't provide dental kid, the mini convenient store they provided actually sells them. But i had my own prepared everytime. I personally think the stay is satisfying, and the friendliness and consideration of their staffs makes me feel more than just satisfied. would definitely come back again.
