To be honest I was initially worried bringing the kids to a museum because while it could be very informative kind of place, most museum tend to be boring. But I’m glad of how wrong I was, because this place is more like a theme park than a museum I must say. Both kids and adults will definitely find this place enjoyable and interesting by the way all the information presented, all the fun activity to do and various places to explore in here. Very impressive museum showcasing all the war tanks, aircrafts. Most impressive is the entrance fee is free of charge. It is a bit hot as there isn't any shaded area around. But the exhibits are interesting especially if you are a fan of tanks.

#familytrips2024 #hiddengems #vianasjourney Our initial intention was visiting the beach but we took the opportunity to visit few other places just around Port Dickson. First stop was at the Army Museum. It didn’t require any entrance fee and you can just roaming around the display area. Most of the equipments was displayed outdoor so it can be a bit warm, my suggestion is to bring umbrella or wear a cap. Second stop was the Cape Rachado Lighthouse. I have been here before and I remember I have to pay entrance fee as low as Rm1 but this time no one were there to collect any fee so we just enter for free. We managed to go to Bukit Batu Puteh for a quick picture. We spent most evening in Telok Kemang until sun is set.

This is the biggest Army Museum in country as far as I knew. The articles and contents displayed are precious and of educational value mostly for new generation. Admission is free but you can make a donation inside. Many army vehicles and weapon on display and mostly the old ones. There were a few indoor museums as well if you need to escape the sun. They also have a special tunnel for you to walk in and experience during the war. It is a must place to visit. If you have seen some of the soldier is around, you also can take pictures with them too. I spend almost two hours to view the exhibition. There's also a small garden at the back of the museum with many trees and a few gazebos providing good shades. Overall, very educational and very suitable for kids.
