#100waysoftravel When we visited Verona the weather was sunny ☀️ but cold. My partner and I went there in February. Although it was cold, it was lovely. When you go to Old Town and walk down the streets you will see a lot of shops. On the square there was a market where you can buy a lot of handmade goodies. We walked across Ponte Pietra, then made our way up to Castel San Pietro, where the views of the city were breathtaking. There are churches, houses and palazzo lined up along the riverbank. Looking far away, you can see low hills interspersed with trees and residential buildings at intervals, worth seeing. There are many bridges connecting the two banks of this river. I chose to enter the Ponte Aleardo Aleardi bridge, which is next to Juliet's Tomb, along the river to another bridge called Ponte delle Navi, which is nearby, to cross back to the original bank, which is where the Catholic church Chiesa di San Fermo, whose spires can be seen in the distance. ... After walking for a short while, I returned to the bus station to take a bus to Verona Airport, waiting for my flight to Naples and Roma. Even though it was only a short day, I was able to visit Verona worthwhile. The weather was quite hot because the sun was good in the afternoon. The arena might not be as famous as the Colosseo but it is actually a really stunning piece of architecture! In fact is was build even before the colosseo and it also has been place for traditional games and shows in ancient times. For sure it is worth a tour when visiting the beautiful city of Verona. the ticket is 10 euro and it is free on the first Sunday of every month. tip: if you can choose the date of your visit, make sure you don't go when there are shows scheduled for the night (arena is also a theathre now) because they will cover the whole court with stage and seats and you will stay pay full ticket price. #history #urbanexplorer #tripblazers

I have visited Verona several times but how could I not know about this spot before! I was enchanted by the medieval atmosphere in this place. The bridge, together with the castle it is very nice to see. We had a romantic walk around it and even got to step on the higher columns from where we could admire the view of the river. A countdown to end the year. Since I started working, I have counted down overseas every year. At that moment, I'm glad to be alive again this year. I'm enveloped in a happy moment of fun. Chocolate drinks after meals that are common in Italy. Sweet but delicious. Many people gathered in the square, and finally it was time for the countdown. #Overseas Travel I love relaxing in Peschiera del Garda, a small town on Lake Garda! The piles of flowers on the roadside give a leisurely feeling of midsummer. The dam paved with flowers makes the lake view particularly beautiful. There are not many attractions here, but it also has a medieval feel. The Voltoni Bridge, the Brescia Gate and the Peschiera Fortress on the port bring a classical charm to the town.  I like to come to Peschiera del Garda because the transportation is very convenient. You can take the train from Verona and embrace Lake Garda in 20 minutes... There are ferries to other lakeside towns on Lake Garda, so you can visit multiple places in one day. In Verona there is a fairly large branch and a very comfortable dining area where you can sit and eat slowly. It is made according to the traditional Gelato recipe of yesteryear and there are often many new flavors. I love it the bottom of the cone "added" 😄 Every time the waiter will ask you if you want black or white, and then will add a little black / white chocolate to the chocolate hose into the cone, when you eat to the bottom, you will eat chocolate🍫 And the top of Gelato can be added a Pat cream - super double delicious! The bridge has a total length of 120 meters and is mainly constructed of red brick, with red brick above and white marble for the lower white part. Based on my little experience, I would like to share with you some suggestions for watching opera in Arena. Although Arena usually only has various performances in spring and summer, because it is open-air, it can be a bit cool at night. It would be better if you bring a small coat or scarf. In the unmarked area, you sit on rows of very hard stone rows. An opera usually lasts three to four hours, and many audience members will bring a small cushion, which makes it more comfortable to sit for a long time. I did nothing but stare at the lake. Really enjoying this moment.
