Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island Aquatopia Water Park: A Magical Journey to a Marine Utopia
Opened in December 2019, Aquatopia Water Park on Phu Quoc Island is Southeast Asia's largest and most modern water-themed park. Operated by Sun World Group, it is located near Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam. Visitors can reach the park via the Hon Thom cable car system, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "world's longest oversea cable car." Spanning 7.9 kilometers and crossing four tropical islands, the ride offers breathtaking views.
The park is designed to deliver ultimate relaxation and dynamic fun, featuring six themed zones and over 20 slides created by world-class manufacturers. For instance, "Monkey Beach" is a children's play pool with three kids' slides, a dart slide, a python slide, a blast master, and a lazy river. Other attractions include the "Lost Lagoon" leisure river and the "Paradise Bay" wave pool. Additionally, Canadian ProSlide Technology has provided two raft slides, three body slides, and two SkyBOX64 racing slides. The park's standout attractions, "Medusa's Trap" and "Poseidon's Revenge," are adorned with massive statues that leave visitors in awe.
The park boasts over 60 statues of mythical and tropical creatures, making it a perfect spot for Instagram-worthy photos. Dining and retail options are abundant, with places like San Ga Café offering coffee, chocolate, smoothies, and more. Safety is a top priority, with trained lifeguards, life jackets, and multilingual signage ensuring a secure experience.
Aquatopia Water Park is an ideal destination for family outings, romantic dates, or gatherings with friends. Come and experience the fun!
