This may not be a top suggestion to tourists when they go to Barcelona, but for animal lovers and those looking for a family-friendly spot, this aquarium can easily kill hours, especially when they have a dedicated kids area. It is both educational and fun. The aquarium will take photos for everyone at the entrance (you have the option to purchase) and the gift shop has many cute merchandises. #aquarium #barcelona #animals

The aquarium is smaller compared to other main water attractions but its revolving tunnel feature is really one of a kind. They still have a vast colection of species including stung rays, octopuses and sharks!! The entry to the venue is fast as the voucher was already accepted as ticket. Its a must see for families with small children as they have lots of interactive activities for kids. I appreciated the small but very cute penguin showcase. The Barcelona Aquarium was very entertaining. They had a great selection of fish and water creatures. Though, I found it a bit small as compared to orher aquqriums I have been to. But overall, it is my money’s wprth. Best to go on a weekday as it gets really crowded on weekends especially Sundays. #summervacation#urbanexplorer
