It was a trip to Daegu, South Korea with family. We visited Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine upon arrival. This museum offered insights into traditional Korean medicine and the history of Yangnyeongsi, a famous medicine market in Daegu. ⏰ 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Closed on Mondays) 📍51-1 Namseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu We also visited the Gyesan Catholic Church. It is Daegu’s main shopping street, where modern meets traditional. We enjoyed walking around the local shops, cafes, and street food vendors 📍Dongseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu If you are looking for a good restaurant for dinner, I would recommend you to try Geumgok Samgyetang. As per the name of restaurant, their signature is the Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup)🍜 It tastes so good and we really love it 💯💯💯 💰 ₩15,000 - ₩20,000 per person 📍123-1 Chilseongnam-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu We also explored the Daegu National Museum. It is one of the largest and oldest markets in Korea. Sitting within the vicinity of South Daegu, Apsan Mountail offers a spectacular view of of autumn foliage from the mountain foot to the top of the mountain. It is around 600m tall in altitude and there are many trails for hikers to hike to the top of the mountain. Alternatively, one can also take the Apsan cable car to the mountain top, just that one has to walk around 30 minutes before reaching to the cable car foot. There is a cafe and an observatory for visitors to have a bird eye view of Daegu metropolitan area, and the night view is also spectacular. 📍Crafter (41-3 Hyeonchung-ro, Nam-gu, Daegu) If you're from Daegu, you probably know that there's a cafe street in Apsan! There are so many pretty cafes in Apsan. The place I visited this time was Crafter! (｡˃ ᵕ ˂ ) It's located in an alley, so only those who know about it can come. The weather has been nice lately, so the outdoor seating has been popular. We were lucky enough to sit by the window! The autumn breeze and sunlight streaming in were so fantastic..💗 There are many places like this where the drinks and desserts are not tasty, but it's not a lie, they're all deliciousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The drinks are hand-drip coffee and fig latte (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑)👍🏻 The cake menu here is also unique! Bonnybam or Omega.... Even though it's daytime, the cakes sell out quickly🥲 So there were some cakes that I couldn't eat, but.. I went to a famous restaurant known for its front mountain cherry blossoms 🥩🥩 It is also famous for its cherry blossom view in the spring, and the quality of the meat and food is naturally delicious. ✅The meat taste here is really amazing 💓🥩 Not only the meat, but also the fried rice and ramen were very delicious. Especially the fried rice, I really want to go back and eat it again. It keeps pulling my visual and olfactory senses 🥹 ✅It is recommended to come early because there is a lot of waiting and it is difficult to get a middle seat.👍 I went there on March 26th, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so the taste of the meat while enjoying the cherry blossom view was even better. ✅It opens at 12:00 and closes at 24:00.
