Today, I had the opportunity to take my friends to visit Koh Samet. We rode motorcycles to the end of the island, which is under the care of the National Park Protection Unit No. 1 (Ao Phrao). This viewpoint offers a stunning view of both the sunrise and sunset, with signs indicating the beautiful scenery. The area is not crowded, providing a great atmosphere, but it requires a bit of a walk to reach.

#familytrips2024 One of the best beaches on Koh Samed. Chill and relax atmosphere. Best Pad-Kaprao and watermelon smoothie on the islands, reasonable price, good rice and quality. We had lunch there almost every day on trip. Just another beach to relax on at Koh Samet. Very peaceful with not a lot of people around. Lounging chairs set up along the beach in the shade of the trees which made it even more relaxing. Food and drinks are available here and the views are amazing. Only visited during a beach hopping tour of the island but would love to come back to stay for a few days.

Coral Bay is located at the end of Koh Samet. It is home to one of the park offices. There are no restaurants or resorts in the area. It is far from other tourist attractions. The highlight here is watching the sunset. Traveling at night by motorbike back from here is quite difficult and dangerous because the road up the hill is quite steep. Anyone who wants to watch the sunset here should rent a car to pick up and drop off on time. But if you come during the day, you won't get beautiful sunset pictures and it is quite hot because the viewpoint has no trees. #Koh Samet #Rayong
