[2025 Longsheng Stay] Travel Guide for ANNLAND HOTEL (Updated May)

The 3-day 2-night in-depth tour of Longji Terraces Jinkeng Dazhai is really the ceiling of slow life. We experienced unlimited comfort and relaxation. I really want to play for N days~ ▪️Game guide Observation Deck No. 1️⃣ (Xishan Shaole): Located high above Tianzhai Village, you can overlook the layers of terraced fields, which is refreshing! Taking photos with the terraced fields on the path leading there 📸 has a very pastoral feel. Observation Deck No. 2️⃣ (Thousand-Layer Ladder): There are several floors, the view is wider than No. 1, the layers of terraces spread out all the way, as if climbing a ladder to heaven, the scenery is very spectacular🌾 Observation Deck No. 3️⃣ (Golden Buddha Peak): High altitude + panoramic view. I personally think the scenery here is the most beautiful. You can also take a cable car. ＊Suggested order of visit: Xishan Shaole -> Thousand-Layered Ladder -> Golden Buddha Peak ▪️Accommodation tips The highlight of our trip was to hike to and from Observation Deck No. 3, so we chose to stay at the 📍Qian'an No. 2 Courtyard Hotel in Xinzhai, which is located on the mountainside below the Golden Buddha Peak. We can go hiking as soon as we go out, which is so convenient! ! ! It is not far from the cable car station, so you can arrange a car to take you to the station. We slept on the Muyun 180° terraced bed. The oversized southwest-facing window faced the yellowing terraces and the scattered dwellings. It seemed as if the TV was broadcasting the beautiful autumn scenery here. Sitting on the windowsill and taking pictures, it felt like being in a painting, so beautiful that it was breathtaking. ️The mirror behind the window reflects the terraced landscape, filling the entire room with infinite beautiful scenery. Whether you are sitting on the sofa or lying on the bed, the stunning view of the terraced fields is always at your fingertips. I love it so much❤️! There are drip coffee and steam eye masks in the room, the soft mattress is comfortable to sleep on, the quality toiletries are easy to use, the ancient tree black tea is delicious, I am really conquered by their details! The terrace under the osmanthus tree outside the lobby is connected to the endless terraced fields, which is also a great place for leisure and sightseeing; the birds are singing 🎶, the fragrance of rice is floating ➰, this tangible poetry is simply like a paradise! I really like the food here. The ingredients are directly taken from the fields. It looks good and tastes good. There is also a terraced gym on the second floor where you can breathe in the fresh air from the rice fields and sweat; there is also a drying room on the third floor. ▪️Transportation strategies 🚌Bus: From Guilin downtown station to Dazhai parking lot, 50-65/person one-way, hotel pick-up is available upon arrival 🚗Self-driving: The hotel has free parking, and you don’t need to pay Dazhai parking fee after registration; or you can park in Dazhai for 10 yuan/hour, but parking spaces are tight, and then let the hotel pick you up and down the mountain. ▪️Food tips: Bamboo tube rice, Yaojia tofu wrapped with meat, smoked bacon, stir-fried meat with dried bamboo shoots, pickled pepper beef, native chicken, glutinous rice wine

Mountain parking costs about ¥30 per vehicle per night. You can book QIAN No.2 Courtyard Hotel in advance, which has its own free parking lot with direct access to the hotel. 2. Chartered car: When hiring a car, clearly specify the destination as Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot to avoid being dropped at the ticket office, which would require long walks or additional transfers. 3. Public transport: From Guilin Qintan Bus Station, take a bus to Longsheng, then transfer to a Longji Rice Terraces-bound bus (round trip about 4 hours). Yangshuo offers direct shuttle buses (round trip about 5 hours). High-speed rail stations also have direct buses to Dazhai parking lot - ask your homestay to help book tickets in advance. 2. Attraction Guide Jinkeng Dazhai features three main viewing platforms: 1. Golden Buddha Peak: The highest point offering panoramic terrace views. A cable car runs here (¥55 one-way/¥100 round-trip, with child discounts). The 1-hour hike up is an alternative for the physically fit. 2. Thousand-Layer Ladder: Photographers' favorite with stacked terraces resembling a celestial staircase. Now accessible via new two-lane road from Longsheng North, making it beginner-driver friendly. Parking is conveniently close. 3. Xishan Shaoyue: Ideal sunrise spot, just 1km from Thousand-Layer Ladder. The final few hundred meters feature narrow, steep mountain roads requiring skilled driving. 3. I saw the introduction on Ctrip at the time and it was quite good. I didn't expect it to be better than I thought. There are many small details, and each room has a large viewing window, which is very photogenic. The disposable products are not vague, they are all wooden, very delicate. Even the hair dryer is Dyson, clean and high-end. I only have one requirement for accommodation, cleanliness, but their home is really great, beyond expectations. The terrace on the first floor is also a place to take photos and check in. Looking out is the terraced fields! Another point is that the service is particularly good, there is a car to pick up and drop off to the viewing platform, no need to go to the cable car specifically. The room is very soundproof and quiet. Highly recommended to sisters who have requirements for accommodation!

If this hotel isn't photogenic, I don't know which one is! A must-visit for Instagrammers! First, I fell in love with the view. Sitting at the outdoor bar, sipping a cocktail, and getting tipsy with the beautiful view is pure bliss! Second, I fell in love with the stunning view of the terraced fields right outside my room. I was hooked at first sight! Third, I fell in love with the soft and comfy bed! I didn't want to get up once I lay down! The bathroom is also amazing. The staff told me it's a full set from Hansgrohe. The water flow is as soft as rain. It's the perfect place to take a relaxing hot shower! Fourth, I fell in love with the staff at this hidden gem hotel. They're warm and considerate, just like family and friends! They sent a Mercedes to pick us up from the parking lot at Dazhai. How impressive! A handsome young man even helped us with our luggage. I can't describe how touched I was! In short, I highly recommend this hidden gem hotel! It's one of the few hotels I'd visit again!
